Can we have some for the next few weeks! before tonights kick off I would say that maybe (at a wild guess) 80% on THIS forum had written us off and conceded that was it, game over. Well it isn't!!!! It is all still to play for! Villa are not in a position to role over for them, now will Martin o' neill! IT IS NOT OVER!

It can be done and am I right in thinking that tonight we have qualified for a Champions place?

Is anyone else at the stage where they are playing mind games with themselves over this?! I started by convincing myself that I wouldn't think about the game, which meant that subconciously it has been lurking all week. I got a haircut and went back over all the times when a haircut came close to a derby and how it panned out (the last one being the same day as the FA Cup semi). I visualise us winning and immediately reproach myself for tempting fate; I imagine them getting a result and hate myself for being defeatist.

I've also been trying to recall my mindset before such games as the playoff final, the Ewood Park promotion decider etc but can't remember whether I truly believed we would succeed then. I went into the FA Cup quarter finals against WHU and Blackburn a few years ago thinking we were Wembley-bound and we failed both tests miserably. I just don't know what to think and want to not think at all. Am I on the verge of insanity? And, having read up to this point, are you?
