Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, its been emotional!

I have a feeling we will not act as cheapskates on that?

Two things:
A) Kolarov is like David May on those rag celebrations in 90's
B) who was that short fair heared suit who was walking to the pitch first right before cup was introduced? Why do we have these random suits there?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Slim,
Before I answer, may I say "Welcome Home". You are a part of the fabric of this place. Whatever our differing views, whether you make me smile or angry, and you have done both many times, this place is a much poorer place without you.

As above Slim, whether City have made me angry or made me smile, without them, my live would have been a poorer place. Too many emotions, laughter and tears, to ever walk away.

A part of my joy yesterday was being able to watch the younger guys, who maybe like you have had nothing to tie them to the club. Who have had no memories of success and whose City career has been largely suffering and disappointment. Yesterday was for them.

After living the title win in 68 I went through many years of total optimism. Then gradually as the Premier League era took shape I realised that it was most likely that I would never live to see City win the league again - and I'm only 51!

It is a long dream come true.

John i was thinking along similar lines myself in that now, we have all had the pleasure in experiencing the thing you and your ilk experienced all those years ago. I expect that as a result we will as suporters now be bound by an even greater bond of belief in our club, rather than the younger generation knowing nothing but failure, misery and humiliation which often dictates how we approach subjects on here in a less mature manner

Perhaps we will see this manifest itself on the board in the weeks, months and years ahead, that we can actually look forward with genuine optimism now for the future, rather than living with the fear that we are city, we are bound to fuck it up.

In fact, being a city fan without all those worries nagging away is going to be a bit......dare i say it.......boring haha

I never left, just didn't post because I was a little sick of...well you're on FB, you know. But thanks, can't see me abusing the fuckwits who deserve it anymore, just not worth the time.

I have plenty to tie me to the club, not the least of which was my Uncle Tony who indoctrinated me into City very early on and who died a few years back, never got to see the last 4 years, he would have loved it. Aside from the FA Cup, which to me was slightly tainted by the other events of the day(not the first time they have done that to us), this was the first big success we've had in my lifetime and about 10 years ago I decided that we'd never win the league and had made peace with that thought, while I had faith a part of me is still stuck in disbelief.
