I hope they crumble around us as we take up our position as the new force in town

With a couple of decent signings I can't see anyone competing with us.

Gary Owen was being interviewed on sky sports news saying he hopes that all the top teams heavily invest so that we can truly prove we are the best for years to come and the rags can't use money as an excuse

I get that but would happily laugh in the face of all my rag mates if they could never sustain a challenge again

Well, the marker is there now.

David Gill today has been saying that they will be spending to improve the squad. He specifically mentioned "historically we offer very good contracts", which I took in the context that whilst they will spend to bring in some younger players, they may be after a couple of top notch older players on the cheap

LONDON -- Manchester United's cash reserves have been halved in three months, the cost of exiting Europe early, wage increases and Old Trafford's redevelopment.

Quarterly accounts show they dropped from $80 million at the end of 2011 to $41 million by March 31. The figure had stood at $238 million at the end of 2010.

Tick-tock.

On the bright side for them, debt has been reduced to only, ahem, $673.8 million.

Those figures seem at odds with what is being generally reported, even allowing for conversion from dollars.

Scum are going to spend, he's full of shit. He's asking for money and trying to put a little pressure on us.

Asking for money and getting it are two very different things. He spunked 50-odd million last summer to drop a place.

Ferguson has done an amazing job as Utd's propaganda minister, psyching out opponents before they kick off & also getting some decent performances, such as away at Arsenal, out of a fairly average squad.

When you look at his spending on players & the standard of his aquisitions over recent seasons though (& moreso since our takeover), he's made two decent signings in Valencia & Young, taken several big money gambles on young players which have yet to be proven & also signed bucketfuls of utter fucking shite.

The only real successes are Young & Valencia, & let's face it, Young is hardly Lionel fucking Messi; he's an above average player who suits Utd's system, nothing more. Little Pee has been found out as purely an impact player, the Brazilian twins are dogshit, Berbatov (imo twice the player Hernandez or Wellbeck) has been sidelined, Bebe, Obertan, Tocsic etc been and gone, Anderson average, the list goes on; the cunt is giving himself credit for this shit.

It's time the media exposed this bullshit for what it is. He talks about signing young players; several dodgy defenders, a weakling striker, a dodgy goalkeeper & who does he end up relying on; two 50 yer olds who he didn't sign in the fucking first place.

His big success is Rooney. That signing was hardly fucking rocket science was it ? He just offered his mate Moyes loads of money for a player everybody wanted: exactly what we have been doing & he's slagging us off for.

When it's come down to the wire this season, Bob has made fewer mistakes & showed more inspiration & has also wiped his arse with him on the 'mindgames' front.

There are a lot of things we can learn from Ferguson & Utd but so much of it is bullshit too.

Whatever bullshit they spout, they have one option now, either spend some money or they'll need binoculars just to see the back of our bus before it disappears over the horizon.

That is one cracking post mate.

Beautiful because it's 100% true. And it's getting emailed to every rag cunt who thinks he can justify their slide down the table by blaming it on money "ruining the game".
