Cavani is not for sale at any price!
Chelsea and Man City warned off Napoli striker
Manchester City and Chelsea have been warned by Napoli that Uruguyan star Edison Cavani is not for sale for any amount of money.
The 25-year-old hitman is a target for both Barclays Premier League clubs but the Italian club are determined not to let him go.
He has hit a fine 66 goals in 94 Serie A games and impressed in the Champions League last season against both clubs.
Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon said: 'I can confirm that Cavani is not for sale at any price.
'The president has made it clear to everybody how he feels about a transfer.
'And Edi, too, has been very clear about his intention to stay at Napoli.
'We don’t have any meetings scheduled to discuss his future. There’s no need to talk about it. We have a very close relation with Edinson.'

Manchester City open talks with Silva about new deal... and Balotelli's staying too
Manchester City have made the first move to tie key forward David Silva to an improved contract.
The Spain international has two years left on his deal and a City delegation flew to Barcelona over the weekend for initial talks with his advisors after Silva indicated he wanted to stay.
Silva has been a huge success since he arrived from Valencia in 2010 and it was always City’s intention to review his current terms at this stage.
Meanwhile, Mario Balotelli’s agent has ruled out the prospect of the City striker moving to Juventus this summer.
Mino Raiola said: ‘Italian football’s economic situation means that at the moment top players can’t come to Italy.’

Delivering Title-Winning Support to Manchester City FC:
How Synergy Technology Uses Autotask to Deliver Premier League IT Support
Autotask Corporation, the world’s leading provider of hosted IT business management software, today announced how its software has been used to support the continued success of Manchester City FC. In addition to winning the Premier League, Manchester City is an ambitious organisation with a state-of-the-art football academy and a programme of high profile concerts from the likes of Coldplay, U2 and Take That.
Synergy Technology, a leading IT outsourcing and business solutions provider, has been working with Manchester City Football Club for ten years. The plans and investment of the new owner – Sheikh Mansoor – have seen the club rapidly scaling-up its operations. It is a football club looking to compete at the highest level but also an operation that employs 350 staff worldwide and welcomes nearly 50,000 fans every matchday.
Synergy Technology supports MCFC’s IT from back-office to front-of-house on a 24x7x365 basis. As well as call centre support, the company has 5 staff on-site to support the club from board directors to operations staff to ticketing to front-of-house. While ensuring current needs are met, it has also been crucial to help the club with preparations for future growth. To do this Synergy Technology knew it needed to replace its home-grown system with a software platform that enabled them to deliver the highest levels of support, insight and detail possible. Tony Poole, Managing Director, quickly realised that an overhaul of their service management tools was required in order to deliver the responsiveness, insight and detailed analytics that MCFC needed:
“In order to support the customer’s ambitions in terms of monitoring current performance as well as predicting future needs, we needed to find a solution that could evolve and flex to different scenarios. It was almost certain that our needs and the needs of our customer were going to change significantly over time.”
During its procurement process, Synergy Technology reviewed 10 systems before selecting Autotask. At the time, there were more functionally-rich options than Autotask in the marketplace but the key decision factor was Autotask’s ability to develop and adapt to real-world situations.
“We really bought into the people at Autotask, their approach and their understanding of our type of business – managed service provision," confirmed Tony Poole. “We were also impressed with the whole ‘Autotask Ecosystem' and felt that it was a platform that would allow us to grow our business success. As our customer requirements change, our use of Autotask can change.”
Autotask’s customisable workflow means that it can be adapted to suit each customer, reflecting their business, their processes, their helpdesk set-up and their customers. “Autotask is a purpose-built platform specifically designed for managed services providers,” commented Mark Banfield, Managing Director International at Autotask. “We’ve built a dynamic solution that grows with our customers and is strongly positioned worldwide. With over twenty-five staff in Richmond supporting accounts, implementation and support, our clients receive an outstanding level of service from initial implementation to ongoing training so that they can grow their business profitably.”
The model has certainly worked well for Synergy Technology and MCFC - both have provided excellent feedback on the service.
Autotask Corporation provides the world's leading hosted IT business management software to streamline and optimize business processes for technology solution providers. The software integrates a broad range of critical business systems, including customer relationship management (CRM), service desk, tech scheduling, project management, billing and reporting, and provides real-time service delivery intelligence to help users understand the factors that drive their business and their profitability.
Autotask is accessible from virtually any computing or mobile device connected to the Internet and features a world-class API that seamlessly integrates with the other systems and tools that providers rely on to run their businesses.

David Beckham left out of Team GB football squad for London 2012• LA Galaxy midfielder will not feature in Team GB side
• Overage players set to be Bellamy, Giggs and Richards
The former England captain David Beckham has spoken of his disappointment after the shock decision to leave him out of the Team GB Olympic football squad.
The team's coach, Stuart Pearce, was expected to select Beckham as one of his overage players, alongside Craig Bellamy and Ryan Giggs when he announces the squad next week. However, it is understood he has chosen Manchester City's Micah Richards instead.
Beckham said: "Everyone knows how much playing for my country has always meant to me. So I would have been honored to have been part of this unique Team GB squad. Naturally, I am very disappointed, but there will be no bigger supporter of the team than me. And like everyone, I will be hoping they can win the gold."
The decision will come as a shock to the British Olympic Association and the London Organising Committee.
The LA Galaxy player had hoped to appear in the Great Britain side at Wembley and Old Trafford, his former home ground, and had been watched by Pearce in the United States last week.
Beckham is still expected to attend the Olympics and may have a role at the opening ceremony, having been part of the team that secured the right to stage the Games in the 2005 vote.
He added: "As a Londoner, I have been really proud to have played a small part in bringing the Olympics to my home town, and I can't wait for the Games to begin."
