Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The scum were planning to move away fans into the 3rd tier at the swamp in an attempt to create a 'Singing Section' and generally improve the atmosphere.
However, a report into the feasibility of this plan states that a large number of fans who 'move in a similar synchronised fashion' such as the Poznan could cause the stand to flex and cause panic, so the plans have been scrapped.

Our third tier "flexed" when bayern came to town. Didn't stop us.
I'll happily sit above a few thousand rags at the swamp with a few packets of brown sauce for their chips.

just spoken to a mate who is a structural engineer.
said that it's normal for structures to flex but there are issues if it happens too frequently... said that 6 'flexes' in 2 hours could have nasty consequences and that's why the rags are worried...

I've heard that the ground flexes & bits fall off the roof if 60 odd thousand people all sing at once.
Luckiliy it's never been tested.

Love this part of it.

The last time City played at Old Trafford their fans performed the Poznan celebration – in which they turn their backs on the action and jump up and down when their team scores – six times.
Heh heh. Lovely.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
