We bought him from Shrewsbury when he was 17. Hardly bringing him through our ranks.

I think you need to think again, or you have your players mixed up. Hart was a shrew.

And Joey came to us from Everton at the age of 15.

All three of you are wrong! Joey was actually brought to us from Mary and Joseph who travelled to Bethlehem on a Donkey!

It's a difficult one for the academy kids to come shining through nowadays. Five or so years ago kids stood more of a chance on breaking into the first team or at least having a crack at the whip. Now you have to be something really special to get into the City team!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Jimbo.
This may surprise you but, though the donkey (and broomstick) may be the accepted mode of transport in your neck of the woods (and fields), should you dare to expand your horizons and wander beyond the "HERE BE DRAGONS" sign, you will note that even within the shire of Greater Skipton. the donkey has been superseded by the horseless carriage, charabanc and even the puffer train.
It is more likely that Joe and Mary Barton shoved young Joey onto the No 76 tram to Platt Lane.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

My Goodness,

And there was me thinking we'd poached him from Barcelona's Academy....perhaps I've been hearing about too many of his twitters which attempt to tell everyone how brilliantly talented he is.

Still, Jesus Barton does have rather a good ring to it.

Anyone see these comments made by Ahmed Benali on twitter? Having a little dig at Mr Welsh.

Sorry if it's been pointed out already.

Fits in with what I've heard in that Andy Welsh was a complete waste of space. Possibly a rag plant
