I don't know how he will play RVP (if he comes here) with Aguerro, Herman, Mario and Edin. Hope he doesn't have some ideas of playing RVP as a winger.
RVP can "play" wide...it's all about creating space, and he can work wide to create space. He did it Arsenal. I'm not so bothered by our forward players alleged positions. They're just working together to create space, and i have to say that when we're on our game our artistry at doing so is on par with anyone in the world -- only Real Madrid and Barca look as good. RVP would only accentuate that.
RVP can be deployed in a varying array of attacking talent to create serious issues for teams. Mario and RVP together, if they get on the same fucking wavelength, with our midfield options could be something very very special.
Doomie, that is why i am worried. I was impressed by RVP wide position at Feyenoord, where he, Pierre Van Hooijdonk and Kalou (Bonevanture, not the shitty Chelski one) were a scoring machine. At Arsenal he was ok, if you ask me, untill he became a poacher, then he delivered.
Weird enough, his injuries were when he played wide, not as a single striker like he did lately, so maybe he can't face the rhythm of a winger who must run all game up and down the line.
