You're lucky you only got ESPN highlights! I had the whole match, and commentators Peter Drury and David Pleat were a disgrace. Why even have a Spurs' man commentating? Predictably, Pleat was bias personified, with every 50-50 decision leading to Mr Punch saying how Spurs were right to get the call. We were even treated to close ups of Balotelli on the bench accompanied by the usual snide remarks. Drury was equally unprofessional.

Seriously, for comedy/cringe value alone get yourselves the full match footage from ESPN downloaded. It's everything City fans have been complaining about for years all in one convenient 90-minute package.

I was going to post pretty much exactly this. It was fucking appalling.....how on earth it is appropriate for that brown suited paedo looking cunt to "commentate" (which surely should be with some expectation of impartiality) for a club which he has a long history of involvement with is beyond me.

He was an utter disgrace. I hate him anyway but he actually cranked that dislike up a couple of notches yesterday. Cunt

Me too, Pleat was a fucking moron throughout and we had to change to Romanian to get away from his god awful Spurs pandering. When Kolarov was on the end of a lovely bit of one touch football and clipped the ball wide, was it about the initial pass, the set by Silva, the off the ball run from Tevez or god forbid the shot by Kolarov?....nope, it was the "brilliant positioning of Friedel" on a shot that missed, ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING ME? Gallas handballs with his arm at a fucking right angle to his body, "It was a 50-50 call with his hand slightly away from his body" Slightly? And there were many more, but I am getting pissed off just recalling the prick's moaning fucking piddle of a voice.

Once I changed channels, it was much more pleasant because I don't get what the fuck they were saying and we scored two goals, although it might have been nice to hear the prick choke when Dzeko banged it home.

Sky had Neville commentating with Jamie Redknapp & Glen Hoddle as the unbiased neutrals in the studio.

Tbf, they were not too bad on this occasion.

Rags had Ray Wilkins & Dwight Yorke for their game. Neutral of course, as Yorke once played for Villa...

The Sky Panels this weekend were a joke.

Glen Hoddle is a really pro-Spuds fella, but he said we were far better and deserved to win. I take that to mean we were far, far, far better!

There are 2 ways of viewing it - most pundits, whilst leaving it unsaid, are assuming everyone knows City were much better than AVB's mob. But by goal stats of course we were behind and scored a winner with 2 minutes to go.

I spent sometime, late on the night, wanking myself at re-watching the 2nd half, as broadcasted by SKY SPORT UK.

While one may say that it's clearly evident, from their reactions on what they see on the pitch, that they do not love Us, I could not agree more with what Ted posted. Their commentary was pretty fair and they told almost what has to be said, perhaps just bypassing a couple of refereeing blinders.

These days seems to be almost a remarkable moment when I find myself in agreement with Ted, so particularly glad to point it out.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!
