he has being improving game on game for a while now, he still has a lot more to give. would love to see him getting forward faster with the ball he seems very deep at times.

Getting better as the seasons gone on, class player who is always comfortable in possession and has started to adapt to our system the more he's played.

He will be a big player for us in the years to come given his age, and how he can fit into any of the 3 roles sat behind the front man in Mancini's system. One knock is that he doesnt score enough goals but in the past few games he's started having a punt at goal and has generally forced the keeper to work.

Can you imagine if he gets in red hot form?

Him and Silva can be like a world class Ali B and Berkovich!!

Jamie was one of my all time City favs though. As a kid all I wanted to see was someone who'd come out and fight for everything. I remember when we signed him, and in his first match he ran straight over to the Kippax as the players ran out and started to throw his arms in the air getting the crowd going. Loved that.

haha yeah I remember thinking that i've never heard anyone shout so much in a game. Enthusiasm was 10/10.

Extra cool points for his own goal.

In my opinion yes. He was old when we got him though wasn't he. If he was playing in the Premiership during his peak I think he would have been unstoppable. That's not to say I don't think Silva will go on to be better than him.

Fair enough was just wondering, i think silva is the best player i have ever seen in a city jersey. Ali was good in the 1st division but wasnt great in the premiership for us, obv that was down to his age but im seeing silva do it in a city shirt against some of the best in the world so for me hes best I have seen. He is certainly improving as time goes by, i felt he was the best player on the pitch after Lescott last night.
He has an impressive number of assists(7 i believe)to his name in the league for the amount of game time he has actually had. That said he has yet to really grab a game by the scruff of the neck and really run the show like Silva manages to do on a regular basis.Hopefully he will keep on growing into the side and we will see the best of him over the season run in.

Not just a City shirt - he's doing it for Spain too, and getting recognition for it.

pretty disappointing again. id like to see him on the bench on Sunday. he's done nothing in awhile
for me to warrant a starting berth.

Disagree he played well. Pass rate 75% and made some decent tackles. He got subbed to bring on Carlos so no disgrace.

That's your argument pro Nasri? Look at our stats this season, Nasri himself averages 92%, 75% is downright poor. If at least his passing was creative/penetrating, one could overlook the numbers, but alas, he was a passenger once again.
