Because Spews is still a "young" Manager and, therefore, still gaining much needed 'Big Time' experience, I wonder if QPR will temporarily bring in Twitcher, to work alongside him and to offer footballing advice and tactical skill, just as when he recently went to Bournemouth ??

That would be a real meeting of mindless minds.

Unless Fernandes is happy accepting relegation, which would be insanity, he's got to release Hughes from his post in the next week or so. They are already 2 victories away from safety, and that would itself need each club or 9 or fewer points to lose their respective games.

Their defence is Championship level and they score too infrequently to be confident about stringing results together.

Ouch Walmai.

That might be regarded as being a bit insulting to Championship defences.

There next game is United away and on the back of a defeat will probably put 5 past QPR regardless who is the manager.

The QPR owners would be wise to let Hughes carry the can for the next drubbing coming their way and a point a new man when that game is over.

His transfer spending in the summer was insane. You would think he was playing Football Manager the way he was signing people.

Interesting piece here from a QPR fan--great writing...wonder if the "in the know" parts would stand up

It's never Hughes's fault, he's always inherited dross and if there's something wrong it's not him or his methods but it's the quality of the players or in this case, an unknown factor.

Perhaps he would have won us the league but he would still be an idiot.

Btw, was the article's comment about Willie Mckay ironic or serious? Is he still active? That's a joke if there ever was one.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Hughes and his merry group of welsh cunts that he takes with him at every club he manages will get around 10 million quid in compensation when they get sacked (again)....great job being an incompetent manager init !!!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I would say something in his defence but he's never been able to form a decent one.

Mckay was placed in complete control of doncasters transfer policy last season, hence the likes of cisse, and a number of other former premier league players shipping up there. And them getting relegated i think was the outcome

He'll probably resign now Chelsea is manager-less and state that he's a young ambitious manger and that hopefully QPR's fans will understand.

I am still not really convinced why he left Fulham in the first place. Anyways he will be sacked by Monday.

At least that'll be an upgrade for QPR.

And Hughes can then have a quick sabbatical before taking over at the swamp.
