As strange as this may seem to you and some others, the team that wins the League and finishes as champions ain't necessarily the best team....and after that early phase when we were given the room to sweep all before us, we certainly weren't the most successful in garnering points. (do the maths).

I haven't a clue what the bookies projected for our CL chances but anyone taking bookies odds to define how they judge football teams is....I shall retreat from being insulting.

I totally agree with all your points in your last paragraph, especially the bit about all managers fucking up, Mancini included.

So when we won the league last season after beating our nearest challengers and great rivals Stretford who we beat 6-1 away and 1nil at home with the rest of the league miles behind City WERNT the best team ?

The bookies price a market with the likely winners at the head of any market because if they dont they would become bankrupt within hours ....... its a viable buisness thing !

For me the only true way to tell who the best team is is to hold a competition, the team that wins the competition or finish on top of the table when the competition ends IS the best team.

MAN CITY however were the best team in England last season . If we keep banging in the goals in the next 18 games we will have a chance of having that status again .

Has anyone noticed how the fat spanish waiter and Chelski have now adopted this approach and the goals are suddenly flowing for them as they look a far more fluid team .
