The MUFCFFP league table, 20 Jan 2013

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The MUFCFFP league table, 20 Jan 2013

Postby Ted Hughes » Sun Jan 20, 2013 3:35 pm

1 Man Utd P22 p55
2 Spurs p22 p 40

A win & Utd would go 18 points clear in January.

That's what these fuckers in the rag press are backing. As if that is any good for football in this country.

Should collate the other teams in favour of FFP as well. Be interesting to see what it would look like.

Everton are the only team who would gain, until one of the others took Moyes off them.

To be fair Ted, you have answered your own question there. FFP is good for them, they know which side their bread is buttered.

Everton are against it, simply because they're only chance of catching the top teams is investment. If FFP is introduced they have no chance.

Liverpool and arse and interested, dunno the others.

Quite simple. Those who have most to gain want full FFP. Those who haven't got the best streams want a limited FFP where they can still invest if needed. Then there's us and a few others that don't really want any change as it suits our position. In fact, I'd say we don't really give a fuck if it happened or not but we are going against it because it will give continued benefit to those competing with us. Why should we give any of them an advantage to compete?

Kenwright wants out, as imo does the Randy Learner at Villa.

It's a load of crap. They just want to clip the wings of those teams that provide a threat to their favourites!
I understand the concept and reasons - but it's all a bit heavy handed with all the consequences and attention it brings to those clubs who are trying to get on a level playing field.

Any hope fostered in this game is futile and should be ignored.
