You carried on the exact same last season. It's fucking tiresome.

Will you grow a pair of balls for fuck sake.

Spot on. Worst fucking moaner and whiner around. Who kept going on about that crap til we lifted the title and I remember seeing some bitter comments from him even after that.

Will we win the fucking title? I don't know. But especially after last years efforts, I'm not going to give up on early february. People actually seem to forget that we looked WORSE around this time last year.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

We certainly did.

Maybe it's time for my yearly "what will you do when we win" thread?!

What the fuck?
I wasn't saying we wouldn't or couldn't win all 3. I was merely saying that all 3 are tough games and we'll do very well to win them all as would any side including Barcelona. 3 tough games. I was responding to the previous comment who saw these games as foregone conclusions.

If you want to delude yourselves go ahead. We may well- and i hope we do win all 3 games. I hope theyre all piss easy and you take the piss out of me for saying this but I dont see how saying these games will be tough is being 'provocative' or a 'moany fucker'

It is the obvious bollox to come out with when you are trailing in a title race. It is in the rag tops and on sky every fucking day.

It should be beyond him at this stage ffs.

We know the odds. And we knew they were worse last April.

Agree with this post very much. We'll all whine after the next loss anyway, why not indulge ourselves in some hope every now and then.

I don't get this approach on a forum. When I am at the games I cheer as much as I can to lift the team. There should be open debate on an internet forum. It's not like the whole team are reading this forum. It doesn't matter what we say on here.

In an open debate on an internet forum you are allowed to question what you percieve as negativity. In an open debate, one shouldn't get so defensive and resort to clichés like free speech as soon as their opinion is questioned. That measuring of opinions is indeed what is part of the concept of free speech. Instead one should and could spend that time taking part in the open debate on an internet forum. I mean, it doesn't really matter what we write on here anyway.

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Anyone on here at QPR will tesify under oath the feeling around the coaches as we waited to get away was blown it, Fucking shite, cluless, that subsides around the M6 Toll to we could do it but will have to rely on others, the rags will draw at Fulham !. Fact is we are good enough to win a lot of games on the bounce, we just appear to be knackered and lacking a spark. Mark Silva, tight we look fucked. Allowing Carraghrer an easy ride Gerrard the freedom to do what he wants, not good and gonna hurt. Southampton will be a right test but a team that will come at us. It is in the rags hands, it was last year. Big players need to show it and hope the Madrid games sap the scum or knock them back. I am a bad loser and a selfish cunt I do not want 2nd sad but fuck it, I had so much fun my family almost came to blows, I loved it. this site is my therapy. If we win the League again we will see the rags crumble and a new manager will be needed.

Bridges Right Foot,

Just a point regarding your remark about posting on here not being important nor read by the team etc.
I think there are one or two that maybe don't realise that this place isn't private and whatever is posted is open for the world to read.

I would be very surprised if the odd player didn't have the odd lurk. We know that the club check the forums to gauge fan's attitudes.
I personally know that there are club employees who nip on and off.
The local radio definately use the forums and Radio Manchester actuallt broadcasts and quotes posters and posts on their Blue Tuesday show.
...and what better place for a lazy hack to gain info and/or background for a story?
Weren't Douglas's training reports used by one newspaper.

This place maybe a bigger factor than you realise...It certainly ain't private Mate.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Our squad is weaker than last year.

I hope for a change of fortunes but hand on heart Im not seeing it this year. If Van gets injured it would help but if we keep failing to gain ground like we have so far we will have to listen to the bleating Im afraid.

Our goal difference was worse than their's when we were 8 points behind last year.

And RVP has scored just 3 goals more than Rooney at this stage last season.

They're not 'major differences'.

Whilst I don't think United are 'shit' like many on here do, I neither believe they have massively improved vs. last season. I just think our early season form was worse and that allowed us to slip behind. They have been very consistent this year, whilst we were not sharp enough in the first few months. We looked to improve upon that in December and January, but again let it slide in the last 2 games.

Look through United's results last season and they dropped many points in games you wouldn't expect. It will be very tough for us to win the league this season, but with over 3 months left of the season it can be done.

Irrespective of results or performances of either us or the rags on the pitch, surely the question we should be asking ourselves is about the performance of our club off the pitch.

Why did our owners spend billions buying the club, buying a team to compete with the best, only to stop investing in players at the very time we had reached parity and were in a great position to kick on and leave our nearest rivals in our wake.
Why did they stand by and allow our nearest rivals to strengthen whilst we actually weakened our squad?

Because we have pretty much filled all the squad places & were reaching the stage where players like Nige & Kolo have to be left out of the Champions League (hence buying English in Rodwell & Sinclair & being interested in Walcott) & need to take stock & move some players on, to make way for a couple of top quality signings next season & the best youngsters who are almost ready to come through.

Sooner or later, some academy products have to get games, or nobody will sign for us.

Bob is like KK, & will sign 150 players if we let him.

Instead of focusing on a title race - a race we arent even in at the moment anyway - we need to concentrate on each game as it comes, winning as manay as we can and seeing where that takes us. What Utd do is out of our hands, as indeed is the Premier League trophy and until such time as we are within 3 points of them we arent in control of anything.

What we can directly effect is winning our own league games, and also making a real push for the FA Cup which represents our remaining genuine chance of silverware

Its an old cliche but it applies distinctly here. No point in us worrying about the gap with Utd until we are at least within touching distance of them. What City need to do is keep schtum, get our heads down and concentrate on winning games.

We certainly need to win the next one. If we carry on like we did last week, we'll soon need snookers.
