although arsenal and their fans are cunts, the lack of respect he showed towards them. slagged them off first chance he had and when we won the pl which nasri contributed little to, slagged them off again.

and his attitude towards those french reporters, he is a spoiled little brat who is here just for the money.
Still here.

Why should he show them respect? Did you see the video of them showing him 'respect' the other week?

And I'm sure he gets it twice as bad on Twitter as well from them.

He's a cock gobbler though and I'll gladly drive him to his next club.

maybe if he wasn't a cock to them in the first place, they wouldn't have abused him in that video.

he's an idiot anyway, why walk through the arsenal fans when they clearly hate you; they were all cockney pussies anyway.

You obviously don't know Arsenal fans mate. They're probably the most petulant set of fans you'll come across.

I don't get the hate for Nasri but I fail to see what he brings us in general.

OK, we get ball retention. We get the odd brilliance, not seldom important ones, like against Chelsea or Tottenham last season. But other than that I'm a bit underwhelmed. I really thought he would bring more to the team than he has and I definitely though he would be more dynamic than he has been for us.

There must be other players who get us the same amount of ball retention in the opposing half (a statistic that City likes to look at, if I remember correctly) but more brilliance, more dynamic moments. Also, if Domenech is to be believed, then Nasri isn't the best player to have in your team when things are going downhill.

His first season can be excused by the fact that he didn't get a good pre-season with the team but this season I feel he should've performed better. It's a shame, because when he was playing alright in Arsenal, he looked like the player we would definitely need now. On the other hand, Mancini refuses to play him centrally. It's a bad combination I guess.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Nasri drives me mad. On the very rare occasions that he does decide to dribble and run at people he tends to be very good at it. It makes him instantly more dangerous. He just never bloody does. He has the skill set, and he's scored some wonderful goals trying that for Arsenal...baffles me that he doesn't.

Exactly... what is that? Where is the Nasri from the last season he had with Arsenal? What's up?

So there are a few of us that can see that he isn't a bloody winger and is being asked to do a role, for some strange fucking reason. Turns out he's not that good out there and doesn't have the confidence in his pace/ability to beat a man and put a cross in. As a consequence, he gets the ball and isn't entirely sure what to do other than wait for the fullback to overlap or try and break their line with a 1-2 on the inside. If neither of these are on he'll not risk trying to beat the man and turn back. It's not his position but he's being played there regardless, so I don't think it's entirely his fault.

Do we set up with players in the position of a winger?

Yes, at the start of the game, We have players out wide who then tend to drift inside as the game becomes squeezed through the middle by our style of play. Silva and Nasri occasionally move back out to the wing, but rarely attack down it, generally to feed the overlapping fullback rather than get a cross in the, selves.

Tactically its an utter waste, and a symptom of Mancini having plenty of world class players, but not knowing how best to deploy them, or not being willing/flexible enough to change his system to fit the players we have. Yaya is another perfect example of this.

No, not in the traditional sense, but if you were to define our shape silva tends to go inside and nasri ends up being the one tasked with giving us some width. It just isn't his natural position.
