Where are people staying over for the final?

Postby Ajardine » Wed Apr 17, 2013 7:59 am

I'm looking at staying overnight for the final, don't want to pay over the odds though. What area is best to stay?

St Albans is nice and only 10 mins to Watford Junction and some culture to boot :-). We could have gone door to door 34 mins! Except for the lure of The Flag :-)

a classic move. More men per square inch than in most gay "porn." Only travelling footy fans. Hope we get a win to make that mantastic experience that much sweeter.

cheers

just FYI...i couldn't post the above without putting porn in quotes.

Bad that! I booked it for £29 a couple of weeks before the semi and then a couple of days before I checked what price it was and it jumped up to £69 i think it was.

I wasn't bothered though. They let me stay an extra hour in my room because I was hungover.

There's a load of places in St Albans. .. Luton(especially the airport: ibis, holiday inn, hilton & ramada encore) and Bedford.

They're easy to get to from Wembley (Direct trains from West Hampstead) and most have car parks so can ditch the cars there.
