How many 19 year old centre backs do you see play a full season as 1st choice in the premiership? None! To make a debut out of position in the Bernabau, keep Lescott (England's best CB) out of the team, all in a side that could yet still win the league and FA Cup. It is a joke that he is not on that list, he should win it!!
Zaba has been the most consistent player in the league, I haven't seen him have a bad game all year! How has he not got on the list?
Danny Wellbeck, couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo!

Quite strange to see no City players on there, especially inlight of Zab's and Nasti's performances. However, the vote for the shortlist is cast back at the start of the year and some would say that we weren't at our best. Still strange though because I don't think half of those players were continuously strong for the first half of the season.

We were out of the LC and CL early but how many of those teams fared much better? United and Arsenal made one more stage after coming through very easy groups and United then got knocked out by one of the teams we were up against. Chelsea didn't make it out although they did have Juve in their group but why would we not have anybody of note during all those games?

It maybe just down to the players not wanting to vote for a City player but it does seem very strange that the likes of Nasti can't get a look in against the likes of '1 goal a season Welbeck' or Zab's not getting a look in against 'No-show Carrick'.

Every one of the top 5 sides has a player, apart from us.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Isn't Bale over the age limit for the YPOTY & an established first team player for a while now? Wilshere, injured most of the season, Welbeck 1 goal... they might just as well give it to Mario ffs.

Also, same old delusion. Young english players being hyped into oblivion for doing the square root of fuck all. I'm surprised they couldn't squeeze Jones, Cleverley, Walker, Oxlade-Chamberlain & all the other shit heads into it somehow.

Carrick is so shit even rag fans slag him off. The only tags that support him are the stupid ones who can't have a discussion without making up bullshit, lies or that the rags are the best.

Our boys may not get an award but the majority of the press seems unimpressed that both Zabaleta and nastasic weren't included on these lists. It may be little consolation to them but it shows it's not just our blue tinted spectacles that think both lists are delusional.

Nastasic not being on there is ridiculous, though defenders are usually overlooked for these things.

Zabaleta, Rafael and Michu would be more worthy than Hazard and Wilshere, not to mention:
@WhoScored - Danny Welbeck: In 1204 minutes of gametime in the Premier League this season, Welbeck has scored 1 goal from 38 attempts (2.6% conversion)

Although that is true, and my rag mate season ticket holders have actually told me the invisible man is crap, some people on here would have you believe they all think he's quality.

Carrick has probably been the rags most consistent player to be fair. And even our Micah was filmed singing their rag song about carrick ha ha ha.

Bale will win it though I reckon.

I suppose it's understandable Nastasic not being on it as I dont think defenders are really considered that often for this award and he has not done anything to special just been steady,IMO Micah was better at his age. What is strange is the inclusion of Carrick, simply let alone watching him play should be enough evidence for everybody that he is not the best midfielder in the league but his stats go some way to proving it aswell. His passing is same as Yaya's ,his goal scoring is crap, his number of assist is crap, his chance creation is crap.
I think he is a bit hyped up

Rafael is a good shout for young POTY - he's pushed Zaba all the way for best right back this season.

Be interesting to see how many on the list make it as their team's player of the year.

The two City omissions are a joke and so is the inclusion of Carrick, Welbeck & Hazard ( 8 game wonder). Carrick is average at best.
