CARLOS TEVEZ is happy to see out the last year of his Manchester City deal.
And the in-form Argentine striker would give serious thought to extending his stay at the Etihad if a new deal was put on the table.
The ex-skipper, 29, along with Joleon Lescott and Gareth Barry, is going into the final year of his current contract and formal talks have yet to start.
But Tevez said: “I have a year left and I will respect that. I’ll think about whether to sign a new one.
“It’s not the same as last season when I wanted to leave as soon as possible.
“I’m going through a different time. The club is treating me really well and that’s so important for me.”
Toure set for Manchester exit
Kolo Toure admits he is considering his options for next season after apparently failing to win a new contract with Manchester City.
The Ivory Coast centre-back joined the Citizens from Arsenal in 2009 and quickly cemented his place in the starting XI, although almost four seasons later the 32-year-old has found game-time hard to come by under Roberto Mancini.
And with City seemingly not prepared to offer Toure a contract extension at the Etihad Stadium, the former Gunner is now preparing for a move away from Manchester, but admits he wishes to remain in England.
"I have been here for nearly four years, and two fantastic years when I have been playing a lot and I hear my songs with Yaya and I will miss those things," Toure told Sky Sports News.
"For me my family is here, my kids are at school and they like the area - but in two months nothing has come from the club and I am thinking about my future definitely.
He added: "My first choice is this country, as I like English football - that is why I began playing football.
"After Ivory Coast I came here, I don't know any other culture and it is important for me to stay here, I have been here for ten-years."
No Manchester City offer for Fiorentina midfielder states agent
The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero has stated that reports from England stating the Viola have received offers for the Spaniard are false.
Responding to speculation by TalkSport, Alejandro Camano insisted there had been no contact from Manchester City or any other Premier League club.
Camano stated that the 28-year-old is settled in Florence and happy at Fiorentina, where he has a contract until 2016 and has made 32 appearances this season.
“It is only natural that there is going to be gossip, because Fiorentina are doing very well and Valero is one of the best midfielders in circulation.” Camano told Calciomercato.it.
“These are just rumours. There is absolutely nothing in it.”
“Florence has a very positive atmosphere, so it is not only the football that he loves here, but also the club and the splendid city.”
Since joining the Viola in the summer Valero has played a key part in helping Vincenzo Montella’s side to fourth in the table.

Scott Sinclair will seek a loan move from Manchester City next season - if manager Roberto Mancini remains in charge.
But the winger is ready to stay and battle for his place should Mancini be sacked by the deposed Premier League champions.
Sinclair more than quadrupled his £10,000-a-week salary by switching from Swansea to Eastlands for £6.2million last August.
But the 24-year-old has started just TWO Premier League games for boss Mancini, and is yet to score a goal for his new club.
He now has West Brom, Aston Villa and Everyon vying for his signature.
After penning a lucrative four-year deal last summer, Sinclair is reluctant to leave the Blues permanently.
But the Mirror understands he is open to a loan move to get him some regular first-team games if Mancini continues to just use him as a substitute.
Manchester City takes lead to buy New York MLS expansion team, but there's no deal yet
Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber was in Toronto on Wednesday to meet with Canadian business leaders. He also attended Toronto FC's game against the Montréal Impact in the Amway Canadian Championship, Canada's equivalent of the U.S. Open Cup.
Garber spoke with reporters at halftime of the game, and made some significant headlines. He said that the league may be ready to make an announcement soon about adding a second team in the New York market:
Given MLS' struggles thus far to nail down that franchise, there was quite a bit of speculation on Twitter that the attempt to bring a second team to the Big Apple - specifically, to a plot of land near Citi Field and the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens - had failed.
Was the dream dead? Would MLS now move on to other markets, such as Orlando?
Dan Courtemanche, MLS' executive vice president of communications, quickly took to Twitter to try to clarify matters:

Courtemanche's remark sounded to me like confirmation that New York was back in front. So did this report out of Toronto:
Note how it doesn't say that there's not going to be a second team in New York. It only says what the ownership group won't be.
Well, I can take things a bit further.
I've talked with multiple sources and have been told that the owners of English Premier League powerhouse Manchester City are now once again in the lead to take hold of MLS' 20th franchise.
You may recall that back in December, Bloomberg reported that City's principal owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was "close" to a deal with MLS. That was as much as we heard, though.
Soon thereafter, Empire of Soccer reported that MLS had filed a trademark registration for the name "New York City FC." Given Manchester City's potential involvement - not to mention the simple allure of such a name - it made sense.
From what I've heard, talks have continued to progress. There is no deal in place yet - and that bears highlighting, given the sensitive nature of these things.
But Garber's remarks Wednesday night seem to indicate that the matter has reached a stage that is advanced enough for the head of MLS to speak publicly about it.
Exactly when the team would begin playing in MLS isn't clear yet. Among other factors, the proposed stadium in Queens hasn't been approved yet.
This much is known, though: Manchester City will be in New York at the end of May to play a friendly against fellow Premier League power Chelsea at Yankee Stadium. There will be a lot of ears perked up to see if an announcement gets made at that time.
And if it does, you can be sure that a lot of people will take notice. Not only will it finally get MLS a team inside New York's city limits, but the announcement would also come just months before the start of the league's next round of negotiations for national television deals.
It's a fair bet that a second team in New York would look pretty attractive from a ratings perspective.
It will be fascinating to see where the story goes from here. Stay tuned.
