Looks like Milner thinks he will be fit for Saturday. If so, it's a no-brainer that he starts. If he's not quite 100%, I'd have him on the bench and bring him on. Then get him back into the side for the next game.
He's been one of our best players this season so it's essential we keep him fit for the rest of the season, particularly for the cup final.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... e-West-HamJames Milner is confident he will be fit to face West Ham this weekend after suffering a hamstring injury against Tottenham last Sunday.
The City midfielder was replaced at half-time during the 3-1 Premier League defeat to Spurs at White Hart Lane, but is comfortable with his recovery this week.
"I had a tight hamstring and as frustrating as it was to come off, I think it was the right decision," he told the club's official website.
"Obviously we were 1-0 up at White Hart Lane when I went off and it was such a big game so you want to play every minute you can.
"But I think it was the right decision to come off, if I had stayed on the pitch I might have torn my hamstring and been out for the rest of the season.
"I've done some work with the physios the past few days and didn't take part in my charity golf day, which was disappointing - but football comes first.
"I'm hoping to get back into training and hopefully be fine for the weekend which is obviously a positive."

Yeah player of the year is defiantly between milner and zaba, I think zabs just shaves it though. You think this one will be a sell out? An I right in saying every game at home so far has been?

An interesting statement from Fat Sam, given how they parked the bus at their place back in November...........
"So we just forward to Manchester City. First and foremost, focus on that, concentrate on that, trying to give the best performance we possibly can and see whether that gets a result at a very difficult place to go and play football"
So lets just see if you actually come to PLAY or just stick 10 men behind the ball & kick ten shades of shit out of our players?!?!

I always nip to tesco before the match, £3.50 for 4 cans. Wrap my coat around them and walk in to the ground like a boss. Pour me a can in to one of those plastic cups I'm away!

We need to make sure of 2nd place. If we can't hammer the hammer's at Eastlands, I'll get hammered myself.
