Not a big fan of Lewandowski.Talented, but I think he's overhyped a bit, especially after Real Madrid. It's impressive to score 4 goals against a club like Real, but he won't pull it off a second time. If he does, I'll eat my own words.

I'd much rather have Cavani AND Falcao. Cavani in the centre with Silva, Falcao and Aguero swarming around him. We can go wide and cross balls in with the arial prowess of Cavani and Falcao, but the ball control of all 4 is very good as well, allowing for 1-2s and runs into the box.

Of course, I'm living in a fantasy world. I would say we should sign someone like Hummels, but I found Nastasic to do a pretty nice job in the latter part of the season thus far.

If City sign both Cavani and Falcao, I could not realy see anyone stopping us for the next 6 years. Really, we'd be too strong for anything else in the Premier League, with Kun, Yaya and Silva, etc.

However, at this moment in time with other teams looking to load up, we just don't seem to be anywhere involved with potential transfers, for them or anyone else. Forget Bale, he's too expensive. Brilliant, but too expensive.

City need to make another big statement this summer, but it's not looking likely, at least from the lack of noice coming from The Etihad.

If Bale goes to the Scum will we be looking at that for yrs as a mistake, somtimes I think you have to if you can afford it rock up and just do it. I think that is what Mancini is saying in his press conf today. PSG have signed some of the worlds best players, wanted by many teams, I think we are at that point again before Silva before Sergio, where a statement of intention is needed piss all over the scums parade if we can, Bale, Cavani, Shaw and a centre back Subotic. Deal with it you red bastards. Thats what I would do.

Does that not contradict itself? Done deal yet club want 40m and City wanting to pay 30m. That to me isnt a done deal.

I will believe aby transfer talk once I see them on OS signing the deal.

As much as it sounds like bollocks, deals where players agree personal terms prior to the finer details of the deal being formally agreed between the two clubs are becoming increasingly common.

Still probably bollocks.

I think our chief executive and team will be speaking to agents now and looking at who are realistic targets for us.
I hope we get either Cavani or Falcou. Both would be amazing but, highly unlikely.
We need some big names to bring confidence back to the team ready for next season - hopefully it will give all the players a lift. Also, after missing out on our prime targets last season, this transfer window needs to be positive in order to promote the club across the world again.

To the people who are saying we get both:
I don't get why we should sign both. How will we line up if we sign both?
Like:
Hart
4 at the back
Yaya, Barry/Milner,
Aguero, Silva,
Cavani, Falcao

Obviously we are not going to bench either of them.

So, Aguero as an attacking midfielder? Tevez out of the team? This doesn't solve any of our problems like lack of width and pace on the wings, does it?

Both together wouldn't be a great idea, imo.

Cavani is better than Falcao

Falcao is overrated in my opinion.

We've got Cheshire Life on the phone, they want to know who's going to be seen in Wilmslow Starbucks in the lead up to September 1st.

But he'd be playing for us not against us.
