Marca: City director of football Txiki Begiristain has opened talks with Sevilla to sign Spain international winger Jesus Navas (27).

Would be a brilliant player for us but i hear he gets homesick often?

was going to say that he's notoriously home sick. Barely seen him play (for Spain in a champ i think) but looked pacy and scored a belter. he's small but Silva and Mata have shown that isn't the impediment it might have been - so long as he has the heart for it when it's cold, the food's shit and he misses his mum.

a maybe from me.

Would be a quality signing but the homesickness is obviously going to be an issue. He can't even manage to go on spanish international training camps within Spain so how he could move to England i don't know.

Might be about time he grew a pair and faced his fears.

every transfer window this kid's name comes up. and nothing happens.

i think he has gotten over the homesick thing....

i wouldnt mind seeing him play...cant see him as a starter as i think we have a solid 11 as is that won't
be changed unless we get someone really good.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Kid's got amazing footwork - you'd swear he was walking on water at times. Brings a rather large crown of hangers-pn with him I'm told.
