Manchester City have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus to the £400,000 signing of 15-year old Swedish striker Zacharias Faour.

The Malmo player will move to Manchester in January when he turns 16, and is earmarked for the under-19 team next season.

He will join countryman John Guidetti at the Blues

supposed to be a tall lad with lots of goals in him. looks like he could afford to put on some weight, but what 15 year old couldn't? always like seeing these types of signings, stockpiling the academy.

He had trial at Chelsea back in November and he was liked by them..........

Chelsea coaching staff are impressed by Swedish trialist Zacharias Faour.

The 14 year-old Malmo FF prospect starred for Chelsea in a trial game last week - so much so that Blues staff decided to extend his tests.

He has played three games, scoring twice, and will now spend an extra week at Cobham.

at 15 i was probably in the best shape of my life...all downhill from there.

also, when they say "joins" Swede Guidetti that's a bit rich, isn't it? Guidetti is a ghost. I've done a Mancini on him and written him off completely. So injuried that he's dead to me.

cheers

That should have been more difficult to find a buyer but I'll have to consider the source.
