The Mancini lickers are fucking negative and will put a negative slant on anything positive that has been happening lately.

Incredible.

Name names. Who are you on about?

I suppose Slimboy Fat means me here. Don't understand what the negative bit is though. We have Director of Football system and Spaniards are in charge of transfers. Nothing positive or negative about it. People just need to recognize it.

I do mean you , fucking negative slant on every fuckign word you write down.

Nothing negative about right people carrying right responsibilities. I bet you my bottom peseta that IF Navas isn't used in his natural position and sucks you will blame El Gringo rather than guys who actually brought him to club.

I think you know me by now,if we start to play players out of position or play shite due to bad management then unlike some cunts on here who refuse to smell the coffee,I will blame the management and say so.

BTW -Gringo is reserved for yanks....makes no sense calling a Latin a Gringo.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Thought I'd stick this in here rather than the cup thread.

What I liked about Navas v the might of Tahiti, was that good or bad, he operated as a crossing machine. Some were proper Paul Power style groaners as he flumped the ball hopelessly into the arms of the keeper, some were welted accross the box to nobody at all, but some were precisely pulled back diagonally to unmarked players in very dangerous positions. This was in keeping with his play in La Liga, & it looks like we actually have a player, with pace, who will put balls into the box AND SIGNED TO BE PLAYED ON HIS CORRECT SIDE !!!!!!!

Variation. You couldn't tell what was coming at all & it was relentless. Not perfect or calculated, just dangerous & direct. That would mean players start making runs into dangerous areas in case the ball goes there, rather than standing still.

Contrast that to the same fucking move we play, over & over & over again, where Silva etc pretends to cross, stops, turns inside, has a ciggy & a cup of tea whilst Zabba, Micah, Milner, runs 40 yards, overlaps, receives the ball & kicks it into the first defender. Dzeko & Aguero make a token effort but the ball arrives so infrequently that they aren't there when it actually does.

I mean it works once every 6 games but ffs, talk about predictable. We've shown everyone that move for two years, other teams have even copied it. Stoke on one occasion had 4 players all blocking the move. (I think actually, being shit, they forgot 2nd half & we scored from one or similar!)

Navas is different; completely unpredictable & looking very promising as a potential plan B.

Rules under Bob were that if you can't see the white of the eyes of a city player, you don't make a pass, where as wingers should put the ball in to dangerous areas in the hope that their team mates are doing their job. City fans love fast paced wingers but we need a front line capable of winning the ball in the air and our current strikers are too small, so lets hope we get someone soon or Ed finds more time on the pitch and can work to a new system

You've got to say, he's got a great cross on him.

It still doesn't give him a divine right to start imo.

I don't think Ed is as powerful as he should be on aerial crosses but he still used to score plenty before he signed for us.

Navas is just as likely to put the ball accross on the ground though, so any striker should be attacking the box gambling where the ball could go, low or high. If they don't, they need replacing.
