This perfectly illustrates the arrogance of the rags. Upset with the rumor of Bale going to Real.

So we are ready to suffer a dip in our revenues from the TV revenue so that the other teams get more cash so that the quality of league is high. Now, to repay us for our kindness we get a massive f*** you from one of those teams who are benefiting massively because of the same arrangement, and that team refuses to sell us the player even if that means reducing the overall quality of the league. This seems like a lose-lose arrangement for us. Keep in mind Spurs are not in direct competition with us.

There, lies within, the Rag philosophy. And to an extent, they are right. They have ruled the league with an iron fist since the PL era and to them it's their television audiances that have pulled the money in.

Let's forget the rest of the league who were the foundations and let's forget the obscene amounts that were ploughed into the club pre-Sky right before they took over. If any Rag doesn't understand that then they are not a Rag.

Shame.

...and the best part of Gollum's first presser was his "shock" at Bacon "telling him" he was the new filth manager. He thought he would be telling him that he was taking one of his players or needed him to do something. If that doesn't tell you how much Slur Alex had many of these managerial chickenshits stitched up then i don't know what would.

cheers
