Ive seen him play and I would never, ever have gone for him in the first place , its a stupid buy even before the cunt got injured!!! When we got rid of Toure we should have had a replacement in before he fucked off and there is no fucking way Demi is better than Toure!!!! - this can seriously fuck us up for the season.

A bad mark against Pelli here.

CARL, Pelli? Why are you assuming that Pelli wanted him? Isn't that the task of Pixie and Dixie ?

Its a pelli signing and at 32 there will always be more risk of injury in training etc.I was not happy to begin with when I heard we were in for him and now Im even more angry.

Lescott better fuckign man up if hes going to get any plaudits off me.

Yeah, i agree , the reason why i asked though is because it had been talked about for sometime , if i'm not mistaken , even before Vince got injured. So, i just wondered if you thought maybe he really wanted the deal and forced the management into the purchase.

As it has turned out, it doesn't look like a good deal .

Considering we tried to get Pepe first and then made a rush for Mangala at the end of the window it seems like Marty was a "backup" backup center half and Pellegrini's past with him was the clincher when the other deals fell through. Point being, maybe he wasn't first choice for either Pellegrini or the Spaniards and both accepted defeat on other fronts and took what they could get...so, no one wanted it. Not too much at least.

I'm grateful for Edward Woodward, his incompetence in the transfer market has pleased me no end, suspect he is also grateful he has so many Ds in his name otherwise he'd be called Ewar Woowar.

Carroll is crocked again ; can someone explain to me why the Hammers are allowed to sign a replacement forward ? (it's in the Mail) . If they're allowed to bring in a free agent (Petric) then we should be able to sign Gallas ? Enlighten me anyone ?

I'm pretty sure you can sign a free agent at any time you want - not allowing it would effectively force unemployment on someone.

Indeed.

The point re Gallas would be 'why?' not 'if'.

I think Lescott caused the injury.

The loan window is open and you can bring in free agents.
