city letter in the post??

Postby dick dastardley » Wed Oct 16, 2013 9:28 am

just got a letter telling me about a wonderful opportunity to spend £1150 a season for a matchday experience like no other, am i the only one who thinks where heading down the prawn sandwiches road? after the stadiums been revamped.
i know its a money making thing football now but cant help but think we may be driving our fans away with pay pay pay mentality in this financial climate

Looks more and more like the third tier is designed to get the real fans out of the second tier and turn that fully into hospitality. I have just posted a link to a story saying "we must keep it affordable for our fans" viewtopic.php?f=119&t=46866 but the rest of the story is about increasing revenue....

I am happy with a club wembley style second tier as long as the rest of the stadium is affordable but will it stay that way..???

As much as it hurts you to grasp the fact that we are big now you better get used to it or find some poor fuckers to support if being rich hurts your morals.

Comes with territory of being a big club i am afraid - unfortunately (or not in my view) we began to lose our status as a working mans club on the day of the takeover
