What I did point out to your obvious annoyance is that our last manager thought Garcia was good, our current manager thinks Garcia is good and Vincente del Bosque (the bloke who manages the current European and World Champions) thinks Garcia is good . . . but you know better than them so I'm baffled as to how you're not managing a top flight football team - crying shame really to have such a talent going to waste casting pearls to swine on a minority internet forum when it should be taking the game to the next level. Oh, and as for 'Do I watch the game" - well, I posted a valid factual point not an opinion so you can fuck off having a pop at me because the fact that Mancini, Pellegrini and del Bosque don't care to share your expert view on Garcia isn't my fault so you're well out of order mate.

And yet every TV pundit picks holes in his game as well as the fans.

After his first couple of months, how many times did he start under Mancini? I'd have said he was behind Yaya and Barry and probably Rodwell if he was ever fit.

How many times has he started for Pellegrini as a first choice? The current problem is that Pellegrini hasn't worked out that a ball playing mard arse centre half is a chocolate fire guard in England, whereas he may have looked ok doing that in Spain. Once one team spots a weakness, they all go for it as Moscow did. If he plays tomorrow, I'll be amazed if Chelsea don't hit high balls in his direction for Torres, Eto and the midfielders to pressure him with.

So far he has contributed the square root of fuck all to City. That's not to say he's a bad player, although I suspect he is, but just going off what we've all seen on the pitch.

Of maybe Pellegrini gets nothing wrong and Honda is renowned for his aerial prowess.

Look fella, I was only making the point that Mancini, Pellegrini and del Bosque (3 guys who are track proven at the top of the game and accordingly paid millions for their expertise) actually rate Garcia. . . I wasn't having a bite at anyone - I was just laying out a very basic but seemingly ignored truth. That truth seems to enrage a couple of terrace / armchair experts and at the next salute I'm getting slated for having the nerve to place fact before their flawless opinion.. well pardon me for pissing on the parade.
You're welcome to your opinion and your opinion seems to be that Pellegrini isn't fit to judge a players worth - I'm not miffed that you hold an opinion, I expect to see opinion in a forum but I don't have to agree with it and I beg to differ, that's all, if it's ok by you?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

So would you play Garcia at CH ahead of Micah, Lescott, Boyata etc?

And if so, why?

Frustrating as fuck when there isn't a need to shove him at CB and we have other, better options.

A draw will still be fine. Rags got 4 lucky points from 2 easy homes, Arsenal have a very tough November, Liverpool have two good forwards but little else. Time is on our side.

If he plays him there again it will just be sheer negligence.

To the people who think garcia is good or even acceptable at centre back, do please send me some of what you are smoking.

I'm gutted Kompany is not playing but Garcia doesn't deserve the criticism he gets

He's playing there because Kompany and Demichelis are injured and Lescott has been very poor when he's played on the right of the two central defenders. It's a straight choice between Micah and Garcia. There are pros and cons to both

Maybe if he played lescott on the left instead of super star worlds best defender nasti and Kompany on the right or micha we would have no problem, just a thought.

Manuel said that everyone bar Vinnie is fit....surely then Demichaelis must start...anyone but Garcia. Chelsea I am pretty sure will be very wary of us and Javi starting at CB is probably the one factor that would give them cause for hope!

I'm with that. Richards is obviously fast, strong and good in the air, none of which apply to Javi Garcia who is a midfield player. But he can be a bit of an airhead at CB.

Demichaelis has the experience and a long pedigree so lets give it a go.

I can't understand why he isn't starting yet. He's been fit for a few weeks now so why not get him in there?

Yeah, it's on at 4, also I believe the UK changed their clocks last night, so for all us internationals, add +1 to your UTC.
