Trees outside the stadium

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Trees outside the stadium

Postby Blue Since 92 » Tue Nov 05, 2013 1:44 pm

I'm working for a construction company that may be doing some work outside the stadium.

Just wondering what people though of these two possible aggregates to go outside our stadium. Meant to be going around some trees or something.

Number 1 is a clear glass like thing. Which apparently the guy in charge of this project likes.

Number 2 is like a light blue stone, think the one we gave them is slightly paler than this.

Personally I think number 1 looks cheap and tacky. Just wondered what you guys think.

*Edit just noticed pictures are the wrong way round.

That glass stuff looks like that shit they used to put on graves. Remember nicking a load as a kid and keeping it under my bed as someone at school said it'll make ghosts appear. Got a right battering off my Dad.

The blue stuff more in keeping to our identity!

ROFL.. You had the right mindset as a kid :D

Glassy 1st looks good in the pic, might not look as good in real.

I think 2nd will go well with the surrounding stadium color ( not been to Etihad yet :(, someone else might be better judge on this)

one up for 2nd one

The top one of the two (the one which is sky blue) - the other looks like some weird turqoise crystal meth close-up.

That's a bit difficult to look after... how about 'russian grass'? as long as the spray we use is water-resistant it should be fine

What trees will be planted ??

I'd go for Blue Atlas Cedars.
