Terrific going forward with Aguero and Negredo playing as a genuine pair; Sergio on top class form and Alvaro a willing workhorse and foil who must be a complete nightmare to play against. Nasri again excellent and always positive in everything he did, whilst Ya Ya and Silva showed their quality.

Defensively not so good; Clichy has been subpar this season and his defending tonight was troubling. Demichelis looked what he is tonight, a temporary stop-gap there to do a job until Kompany is fit and a new top class centre halve arrives in January which is exactly what needs to happen.

Silva and Fernandinho's knocks a worry but its churlish to be too critical when you've knocked 5 in again and achieved the objective with 2 games to spare. Well done City.

One final gripe - please someone have a word or take the microphone off that twit on the PA at City. The Americanised announcing and over the top crap needs to go, as it isn't amateur Ring Announcer auditions here.

Panti was average, nothing special, but didn't do much wrong apart from one flap. Hart would have been better on their 1st goal imo.

Both Fernandinho & Silva were involved in a few hard knocks, neither looked badly injured, just niggly stuff, but whether they will be fit for weekend I've no idea.
