City's oldest surviving player has died.

City's oldest player, Ron Dellow, has died at the age of 99.

Dellow appeared 10 times for the Sky Blues in the 1930s after arriving from Mansfield, and scored on his home debut.

The war sadly ended his playing career, and he flew bombing missions over Germany during the conflict.

After the war, he became a successful football coach in the Netherlands.

The thoughts of everybody at the club are with Ron's friends and family at this sad time.
