There is a multiplier coefficient for finals of confederation and World Cup finals, as the article mentions. Otherwise you may be getting confused with the UEFA coefficient: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_coefficient

I can't see how it's calculated last time round, but this seems to be only based on world ranking, not on prior performances in finals, which was certainly the criteria upto 2006

I think we might have a brilliant tournament, echoing New Zealand's impressive footsteps in the 2010 competition.

We'll draw our first three games 0-0 and even though we won't progress out of the group stage, we'll defiantly hold our heads up high because we were undefeated.

We'll certainly show these 'Johny Foreigners' what we're made of............
