Has formed a pretty formidable partnership with Kun and has brought the best out of him again after his lean turn out in 2012/13. Never stops trying, works hard and is a team player.

I'm with Sis on this one.

So difficult to pick.

So many players offering different qualities.

But from day one, Pablo the best right back in World Football bar none!

The Beast for me. Fantastic as he is, it's not an easy choice though.

You don't think he had an iffy start? He was one of our most unreliable players earlier in the season, and only just seems to have got back to producing good performances.

Probably the Beast but Nasri, Fernandinho and Yaya all strong contenders for me...oh and Sergio. Tough call

If you read both fucling sentences it's pretty obvious what I was meaning you miopic twunt.

Not myopic enough to miss the fact you spelled myopic wrong either.

I've got to let you save face somehow.

It's heart warming to read all these comments and realise just how many brilliant players we have.
If we don't win at least two trophies it will be a real let down as in truth we are at our best head and shoulders above any other team.
I think Nasri has been outstanding, Aguero is the best striker in the league, Silva the best creative midfielder, Zaba the best right back, and Kompany the best defender. More controversially I can't think of any other prem keeper I'd have (stand back and wait for feedback!). I've also been hugely impressed with Negredo, power and great skill with a lovely touch for a big guy.
However my player is Yaya. He is immense. I just love the way that wherever he is on the pitch he will be available for a pass and his control is magnificent. He is the total fulcrum of our team; when he gets the ball Silva and Nasri gravitate to him like moths to a light. So many of our goals come from us first getting control in the middle and moving the ball quickly. What's even better is him and Fernadinho look like a great pairing, I just love that goal against Arsenal which stems from the pair of them playing one/twos to move the ball round the opposition.
I also think he now has the fear factor for our opponents; most laughably we saw it this week when Roger Johnson and the rest of the West Ham team nearly ended up in the stands before they dared tackle him. More seriously I think he genuinely intimidates other teams and players by his sheer presence. I remember when Vieira was a colossus in the league. Yaya for me has that standing, and although I've not checked I can't remember Vieira getting nearly as many goals.

Would have went for The Beast or possibly Merlin before Wednesday but when Yaya went down injured, the first thing that came into my mind was he is the one player we don't want to lose for the rest of the season so awesome Yaya it is for me.

Thats exactly what I thought. I noticed him on the floor in agony. We carried on playing as we were on the attack but I was nt watching as I had my head in my hands. He is the last player I would want to lose and why I voted for him too.

Some great shouts - speaks volumes about our club as most only have 1 or at most 2 top performing players

Still cannot see past Kun - maybe he has not got many posts because we have come to expect such brilliance from him

If we have our strongest lineup, which I believe to be

Hart
Zabaleta--Kompany--Lescott--Kolarov
Nasri--Yaya--Fred--Silva
Kun--Neggers

Tell me, who sits down to make room for Milner?

Slim - I agree that is probably our best line up which prompt another consideration - not POTY level but Pellers has brought about an improvement in Kolorov as well as Nasri/ That fella must have some man-management skills

What I believe is that leftback is our weakest position, however Kolarov offers something exceptional in his crossing ability and that's why I'd play him over Clichy. I think someone made the comment that Clichy would get a nosebleed being that far up the pitch and with a system that employs overlapping fullbacks it does seem a little stupid to have a guy who doesn't get forward.

If there is any truth to the rumour about Luke Shaw's transfer I would definitely move on Clichy if it were an option.(Rumours Kolarov wants to head back to Italy have been persistent for a while now, so might be out of the clubs' hands)
