Can anyone think of a manager who often behaved abominably & thouroughly deserved to be called an old cunt, & yet somewhow was never called one by other managers ?

I can.

I wonder why he was never called one.

At the end of the day, it's all academic.

Pardew has disgraced himself but the 'old' maestro has had the last laugh - he's done the double over the Cockney Wide Boy.

Six points to City, thank you very much. Now, bring on our next opponents.

Didn't Bobby and Pardew have a bit of a beef? Or am I making things up?

Pardew has the charm of a prostrate examination performed by a old man who is a drunk, cantankarous, cheating, hypocritical, myopic, Glaswegian fucktard and assisted by a younger, crappier version who is out of his depth in his day job

I think Pellegrini probably didn't get the grasp of Pardew's 'Sarvener' dialect and probably wondered why Pardew wanted to discuss old or dead German Philosophers (Kant) at such a critical point in the game. Hence the deadpan look of surprise.

I guess it just reaffirmed a little we know about Pardew ... but also showed us a lot more of who Pellegrini is ... he never reacted (Mancini would have been funny to watch here) but simply stood his ground, neither back tracked to his bench, nor moved an inch towards Pardew ... and just kept looking at the game ... very classy, cool character indeed.

You can see why the Newcastle players were so dirty if Pardew sets an example like that

The FA have 'reminded' Pardew of his responsibility as a manager. WTF.

Remind the twat with a touchline ban and fine. He has previous. Leopards and all of that

Interesting comment in the grauniad article.

"I hear my comments were picked up and I apologise for them 100%," said Pardew.

So if they hadn't been caught on camera...
