Did you see any odds for a double or treble of any permutation. Imagine a double is quite low as we are very likely to be in league cup final and we are favs for Prem. A treble at say 50/1 is worth a cheeky couple of quid as if we assume we'll win league and probably league cup, then 50/1 for fa cup not a bad shout. Of course it could go tits up in League cup semi but a £1 or £2 domestic treble is worth a punt. I know its highly unlikely but so is most gambling but its only a bit of fun

I had a look yesterday. We were basically evens for each of the league and league cup and 5-1 for the FA Cup. Favourites for all 3 - not sure I'll ever get used to that

Evens for the league? Fuckin hell. Favs for all 3, amazing. Wonder what odds Chelsea or Arsenal or dippers for a double or rags for the treble? Probably not allowed to take your money as it could be considered robbery!

Anyone else a bit pissed off about the media going on about how we can win the 'quadruple', trying to put unnecessary pressure on us.
We've not even won one yet ffs.

Yep. But how many times have we said shit like that about the rags. Media love them etc etc.
we are the real deal.

True. I'm not even thinking about a quadruple. One game at a time. If we win 2 it will be incredible, never mind four!!

Spot on. I expect us to win the carling cup. League and fa cup will be very hard.

It only adds pressure if the players believe it''s possible. Which I don't think any of them do, so nothing to worry about.

Domestic treble is a big big stretch and would be out of this world incredible. If we did that, I'd probably get a heart attack out of happiness and would be still be grinning like a mad man even if we didn't win another trophy for years and years after that.

Winning the CL is probably an even bigger stretch than doing the domestic treble. Winning the CL AND a few other trophies is fairy tale fantasy, not a chance in hell that it'll happen.

I think we will get two. I am still not convinced Chelsea won't pip us to the league.

The CL is a bit of a lottery. Alot can happen against a quality side in 180 minutes. Also, the best side in Europe rarely wins the CL.

Last season was a rarity then coz Bayern were defo the best team in the CL so we may have a chance in the CL as no others apart from us think we are the best in the comp.

Rarely is a ridiculous word to use. Chelsea is the only major aberration I can think of in the last 5 years.

I'm now convinced the press are talking about a quadruple so that they can start whining about how shite we are when we fail to achieve it - seeing as how our away form nonsense isn't currently back page news - although one poor result away from home & we'll suddenly not win anything as we can't win away from home - so the press will claim
