Excellent game. I said to the Mrs that we'd struggle for the first 40 due to the selection but would start to play after the break. Low and behold, she said I was a plank, but a right plank?

It was always going to be difficult without players like Vince, Yaya, Dave et al but then trying to bring back players who have been out injured was only going to make it a tougher game. We showed though that even with that in mind, we could still stop them getting anywhere near us; it was just a matter of when.

And it came, a good goal right on time. From that point there was no doubt in mind that we'd go on and take the game but I didn't think it would be so emphatic. Negredo and Dzeko weren't that great in the first half but really came to their own in the second. Kolarov was an inspiration when he came on and Sergio's entrance marked a point where we can look forward to a very successful campaign if all stays well.

Really enjoyed that and was capped with seeing the dispicable Roy Keane saying we could actually go for the treble. I'm not sure if he realised it but he seemed to at least want to put us down with the CL piece but inadvertently said we could do the next best.

Gary Bowyers interview was good as well, giving an honest estimation of the game. With his views of our chances anybody would think the Manchester lad was a Blue.

Good game, much enjoyment. Well done City.

Amend that to if the first half was poor amend things a little and win at ease. Fair play to Pellers. It wasn't working, he changed it around, gave us more width and he got the reward.

To put this in perspective, Blackburn's starting 11 cost £4.5M, that will buy you about 1/8th of an Aguero.

Passage secured. Negredo clinical, Dzeko initially wayward then laterally lethal, Navas busy, Aguero back, Milner a central midfielder and not a wide one - fact.

I thought for 45 minutes they looked better than most PL teams we have faced. Cairney looks a very decent young player.

He looks a very good player and a bargain at only £500k. I think they can come back up this season on the back of players like Cairney and Gestade. I don't think they can stay up with the same team though, they will tire and as you saw in the second half, their organisation goes right out of the window when they do.

just go to watch the replay.

great performance. but i dont believe we wouldve scored as many had Robinson been in goal. not that he's that great but the kid that replaced him is just that, a kid.

awesome to see Aguero back in the fold and see him score in under a minute after coming on. and it was an atypically unselfish play from Dzeko to set him up. could be a crucial goal for Aguero to give him back his confidence after returning from injury.

our front three are really in form right now. Pellegrini is going to havea selection issue on his hands, but im sure he'll choose Aguero and Negredo...which means that Dzeko's form could tail off when he doesnt play every game.

hopefully Rodders and Jovetic are back for next weekend and we dont have to play someone like Fern and Negredo and give them a rest.

Lescott and Nastasic were still sorta shaky at times...thats a bit worrying.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

After last night's game I have to admit that I'm sure the ability of almost all of our players, they are amazing. I can only applaud people like Navas, Milner, Kolarov and all others. There is just few players who do not play fantastic in this moment and i will not go in to it there i m just enjoy this form.I am sure we will make Barcelona problems i m not afraid of them and i was .Play that way without Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Aguero, as they are replaced by other players is fantastic. I think i love Milner us a player and person every day more and more.I was focus on him last night and guy was insane with how much he run , hes movement , hes passing when he get hes CM position. Silva was my favorite player but now i m going towards Milner. Kolarov is absolute class this season he left Clichy in dust .

Must admit I was getting a bit shaky about our injuries etc yesterday but last night reassured me how strong we are in depth to get through all these matches. Even with Lescott and Nastasic!

Yeah that's what I thought before the game. Can we without our main players to play the same and so is Peler's use to say that we have always must tray to play the same. They were hard to open up , but when we opened them, then the show was performed. I also love that we have taken the venture mentality score score score. There is no more stop we lead and endless passing .

Likewise. I'm glad that if we're 2 goals ahead after 70 minutes, we no longer make 2 defensive substitutions straight away.

Yap Peller's do what he promise we are attack minded team only if we can get that a bit more security away . We are taking points . We won last how much 3 or 4 but it was always nervous wreck games. I would play Milner on CM, i think he can play that's amazing last couple of games i watch him and he is our gold. Call it like our Gattuso ( if u know what i mean hard working player ) only he can play football and play it great . Amount of running he do for a game is crazy

Good performance last night, it was reported that the attendance was 35k? I dont think so but even so well done to everyone who went, I was relocated to the east stand ROW A!!! And as soon as I sat there, it started pouring down and was torrential, I got soaked in the first 15 mins until a good Samaritan known as King Kev took pity on me and text me to say the seat was free next to him. It was good to seek refuge in the dry area!!

Game of 2 halves, We were always in control even in the first half but were vulnerable to the counter attack. 2nd Half was a solid performance, great work from the attackers and that assistance from Kolarov and Navas was excellent.

Couple of points to note, Blackburn no6 (Lowe) had Fernandinho in his pocket and man marked him out of the game. I dont know if Pellers had it in his mind to give him a rest at half time anyway or if this was forced by the excellent job that Lowe did.

I thought the blackburn fans really contributed and were good fun and created a good atmosphere, much better than some of the dross that have visited Eastlands this season. Shame they dont carry that support enthusiasm at Ewood park.

Shout outs to Arjen and KK, good to see you again...Arjen I will get to the townley on Sat and grab a pre game pint, my treat :-)

Funny chant from the blackburn fans where they were all pointing at one fan in block 111 and chanting Wanker Wanker at him..... at which point the whole of block 111 chanted back,
wankers going to wembley,
wankers going to wembley nah nah nah nah.

Saw Nasri on the way to the game. He has a driver but he was driving Nasris car (Matt black porsche 4x4).... strange thing is it has a german registered private number plate ending in SN 19?

Oh and whoever was driving it is a complete knobhead and should not be allowed on the road.
