Woke up this morning, my dog was ALIVE!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Woke up this morning, my dog was ALIVE!

Postby john@staustell » Thu Jan 23, 2014 7:55 am

To paraphrase the old Nazareth song when everything has gone wrong, and pinch the glories of 3 other threads, everything is HUNKY DORY today:

I get up for work just after 5am, so if I dont like the look of an evening match I normally sod off to bed. The RAGs scored and I couldn't stand the risk of seeing those sneering, snarling ugly mugs qualifying for Wembley. I knew the Deloitte list was out today, but I also know the main revenue hikes and wage falls are in this current year.

So up I get at 5.15 and

1) The RAGs have ignominiously gone out with one of the worst penalty performances of all time. Probably saved them from a 7-0 drubbing in the final. Couldn't have stuck that out to the end anyway

2) We have already overtaken Chelsea and Arsenal in revenue, so I can go on Teamtalk and ram it down the throats of those who have screamed 'FFP' at me for 5 years. That gap is going to get bigger and bigger

3) The unstoppable Empire grows another arm, with the purchase of Melbourne Heart - got to put the name 'City' in the middle surely?

My goodness today is good to be a City fan. Almost makes all those years of suffering fade away into obscurity!
