Hopefully normal service is returned this weekend, and we can all happily get drunk on Saturday evening. I cant imagine anything other than a magnificent win after Chelsea. There is not a lot of chatter about the game on their forums, so its all a little bit flat Im afraid. Still I am just happy to be able to say Wolfswinkel !

Enjoy

Team Selection

Ruddy
Martin Bennett Bassong Olsson
Johnson Tettey
Snodgrass Fer Pilkington
Hooper

My Favourite

Man City 0 v chelsea 1
oh hells bells,we will pay for that

And the rest…

Man City are a freak of a team, and considering its them, I think a brave 4 or 5 nil defeat would be acceptable and we move on to the next game. What do others think?

Its just about having realistic expectations. One of their players costs more than our entire team

Given the history and the two squads and managers, I would imagine a win to be out of the question, and we are really looking at damage limitation. Anything better than a 3-0 defeat would be pretty good, I think.

Do I expect to beat Manchester City? No. Can we beat Manchester City? Yes. What will be acceptable? A decent performance where I feel we have played to the best of our ability. If that's not good enough then so be it but I'd like to think that we can make life difficult for them if we are on our game.

Cardiff have done it...Sunderland Have done it.. We can do it...
1-0 to us...

If Man City are firing on all cylinders it could be a whitewash... 7, 8 or 9

I do think we will grab a big scalp this year, but i don't expect it to be against City, more likely Spurs or Arsenal final game

I havent seen the slightest improvement in NC since the 5-0 drubbing at Fulham at the start of last season , so I have no reason to believe that it will anything less than a heavy defeat

Aguero is out, lets hope all their other strikers will be too

The only way to beat Man City is to attack them and Hugh wont do that

Shearer and Hartson agreed that manc buy success are not invincible and using the correct tactics are beatable.

All we can do is pack the midfield and get right in their faces.

Why would anyone take anything Shearer and Hart say seriously. Talk about grasping at straws ...

Yep Gillie, they are mostly from there, and one other. They have started several posts about the game, but none of them say very much. No big surprise that they are more worried about their own future, and will the manager survive the weekend if we get another cricket score.

Not sure if this guy has seen us play too much?!?!

The more they attack, the more they open up, the better for us. For the weaker teams, how Palace played against us is their best bet.

That's pretty much how I felt before most difficult matches when we were shite. Proper effort and basically just doing our best was all I could hope.

And thanks again, Iike reading these in the build-up to games.

The Pink 'Un was the equivalent of the Pink Final. I wonder if it still going.
