It's not going to be popular but the FA cup game against Chelsea has to be least priority now, and I'm on the cup scheme so its a hard pill to take. As many kids as we can put out and any fringe players we can use to rest key players - we need to give Dzeko and/or Negers a break along with Silva, Navas and Zabba - also Yaya looks to be running on fumes.
But we cant consider a weakened team for the Barca home game, too much occasion surrounding that - if it wasn't Barca I'd suggest a weakened team here too.
League Cup final and the league have to be top priority now - we must keep fighting for top spot, and failing that 2nd or 3rd at worse.
League Cup is important as silverware in MP's first season is worth its weight in gold, and to lose a final in March could really dent our confidence Where as a win would/should give us that boost which could see us flying again.
I'll put me tin hat on!

I might be able to put 20mins in - you got your boots?

My arguments are this, Pellers would had brought Mangala and Fernando in right now, but he couldn`t because we had Rodwell or Nasty, players that cost a shitload of money and affected our fair play situation. Pe paid for Garcia, Rodders and Nasty almost 50 mil. Can you imagine that? In order to buy those two and to use them when Fernandinho or fuck knows was injured, we had to sell, but who in his right mind (except Everton) would pay more than a mil for Rodwell? From this comes all our problems now and why we had to use Demichelis as a defensive midfielder or as a center back. The next games are crucial, but Sunderland got the smell of blood that we left in the past two games and often when we rest our best, shit happens. Yaya, Zaba, Negredo need a rest. Can we affort it? Things are bad because we played so good and failed to notice that we are shaking and now we look that we are going down like a domino. For me it`s not the end of the world if we do not win the title, but fuck me, wouldn`t it be sad just looking how good we were? Now the fight really starts and we need to step up. Everyone, from Micah to Sergio.

I think you make a valid point re Rodwell and Garcia. But the signing of Demichelis is just as bad. Also, the Count insisted on playing Garcia at CB earlier in the season and seems to rate him above Milner . No, we are not just suffering from past mistakes we are suffering from making the same mistakes. The manager is doing what most competent managers could do with our squad. No more.

I understand the reason he bought Demi. He needed a player that he know, that can be a leader. It was the same with Paddy when Bobby was here and the same with Bellers with Hughes.
In my eyes, Demi has surpass himself, but with the tempo in the league, he can`t do it, his body can't handle this week in and out. On paper, Vinnie - Lescott was the best center half duo in the world in 2012. Somewhere on the way, something happend.
