Liverpool have the advantage in premier title race

Moaninho must be worried, he's now focussing his drivel on the dippers...

I've not read Maureen's rant but I do believe that the dunkin-dippers do have a clear advantage in the title race owing to their not competing in Europe and ergo having less games to play.
We are the most disadvantaged in the title race as we remain in all comps so have a heavier schedule than any other side. Fact.

Fingers crossed eh?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

we might only have 3 more games than the dippers

2 v Barca and the League cup final, they are still in the FA Cup too.

I think we play the same number of league games as them

So we have at least 4 more games to play than the dunkin-dippers and more if we beat Barca. That looks like a PL advantage to the dunkers to me.

You don't know that
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I'm hoping this week's little rest will do us the world of good. With the returns from injury of our players over the next 2 weeks. Time to put all these debates to bed by pulling away.

Well if we're including games that have already been played, maybe we should include the 6 group matches and the extra league cup matches we have already played. As I thought the comment was in reference to the remaining games, we have an extra league game to play as well.

been looking at arsenal, liverpools, and chelsea fixtures, the weekend of the league cup final.
fulham v chelsea
southampton v liverpool
stoke v arsenal.
could work out well for us ,and another match in hand, providing we beat stoke in our next league game.

That could be a huge weekend! All 3 sides capable of dropping points there.

I quite like us having games in hand because I think it puts more pressure on the teams on top of the league now. If we can still be competitive in the top 4 whilst having 2 games in hand things will be shaping up nicely.

Game's in hand aren't guaranteed points so we can take nothing for granted. Only wat to pressure teams above us is to win, having a game in hand doesn't add pressure.

It's Maureens to lose. Simple as that.

At this stage of the season it's all down to which teams have the bottle and fortitude to go on and by the looks of his interviews of late, it's him that's having to put pressure on the rest, usually meaning that he's shitting himself already.

Let's get one thing straight, he's got a hell of a squad at his disposal and hasn't had any real injury worries with his best team. Now he's got both his CBs out it maybe that he feels a little less confident but at the same time, he's got very decent replacements and the way they set-up not to concede is always going to make it difficult for a team to get 3 points against them.

I wonder how much the team cost that was sent out against us? Can't be much less than ours and if I recall correctly, haven't they spent more than any other club over the last few years?

Bourinho and his media sidekicks make it sound like they are doing a 'RasherChops', growing and nurturing his players in plant pots, in a little greenhouse just on the outskirts of Chelsea when the reality is they've bought real quality players, at a price.

If he fails to win anything with that team then I'm sure RA will have something to say, it's one of the best teams I've seen in the Prem; ever.

Technically, it's ours or Arsenal's to lose - if either of us win all our remaining games, we couldn't be caught. Both Chelsea and Liverpool need others to drop points as well.

Some of the other mangers need to remind the press that Chelsea have won European competitions in the last two seasons. And then sacked their manager. Maureen's statements that they aren't expected to win anything are wide of the mark, especially if he wants to keep his job.
