I no longer know what to make of him. He is fucking weird.

Just seen a replay of that miss. It is one of the worst I've ever seen. Some of those, the ball bobbles horribly, or flies off the top of the foot, or they try to bury it & mishit it.

He tries to tap it in, but he has left his own leg in the way of the ball. He actually looks like someone pissed out of their head trying to play football but staggering around off balance.

Absolutely horrendous stuff.

I was having trouble remembering when Dzecko last had a shot on target.

Turns out in the last 3 premier league games he's had 11 shots, 0 on target. You can add in the Barca game: 17 mins played, 0 shots on target.

So he's not had a shot on target since the Spurs game on Jan 29th.

His overall shots on target for this season are only ok - 20 on target, 34 off target, 37% accuracy. Conversion rate pretty poor- 7 goals scored from those 54 shots.

In the 2014 calendar year, its 6 shots on target, 20 off, 23% accuracy. And for Feb, 17 shots, 0 on target, 0% accuracy.

So the data shows he's getting (much) worse as the season goes on. He's played a part in every premier league game since Dec 14th, so you can't argue that he's not getting a run.

Pretty apparent that he's our worst striker by some margin, assuming it's fair to base striker value on how often they can hit the target when shooting. Beast also declining lately, but still way better than Dzecko.
