Wigan tickets/Cup Presentation?

Postby john@staustell » Thu Feb 27, 2014 12:03 pm

On an optimistic note - if we were to win on Sunday I would assume the cup would be paraded around before the Wigan match?

Tickets are steady, but not spectacular, but if we win there's going to be an almighty rush for tickets Monday morning.

A lot of people who would want to be there may not have thought ahead.

Unfortunately we cant make the trip that day, but maybe some others who haven't bought tickets want to take a chance now?

Now we have actually won it - surely it will be presented against Wigan? Snap those tickets up!

Got mine last Monday and said the same thing to the Mrs before the match yesterday.

I'd love to parade it in front of those lot
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

I wouldn't parade it until the end of the season then parade it with the other trophies we win.

Think though mate that would look ridiculous if it's the only thing we win!

How would it look to parade it before the game and then lose?

If it's all we win, don't parade it, but I expect we'll require a bigger bus

4 years ago we had not won anything for a LOOOONG time, how weird is it that we are embarrassed to parade a cup? We would have filled manchester with that pot 4 years ago!

Can't make this after dodging work for the final so two south stand tickets spare, south stand second tier near away fans. £45 PM me, ta.

I was driving to Wembley yesterday thinking 'I'm sick of this, I wished they'd built it further north'. Not so long ago, I'd have walked there to see us in a final

I think we should wait until the last game of the season.

This is a significant trophy for us and particular our manager , looking back now , goals of that quality do not happen very often.

Concentrate on the next game.

Uwe to get the respect he deserves , do not rule him out for our next manager.

I don't think that the fa will want us to parade the league cup b4/after a fa cup game, bring the cups out at the last game of the season

Will have to be the first game of next season, as the FA Cup and Champions League are after the end of the season.
