Why I think that? Two things about Lescott ...
One, the gaffer didn't trust him in the final ... and not just that, we've seen throughout the season ...
Second, imagine this ... if he plays this'll be his last ever Champions League game ... yes, at Nou Camp, against Barcelona, last chance to play in the CL ... because I don't see him being linked to any CL club? He'll probably end up at West Ham or Everton or Villa ... the three linked with him in January ... but that's about it, a mid-table club, nothing more ... THAT tells me, it's not only Pelligrini who doesn't rate him ... if he was rated by other football geniuses, sure he'll be linked with bigger better clubs?
It doesn't matter what Lescott does, he has his own squad of haters always ready to criticise & that kind of reputation would mean it's a brave top 4 manager who would sign him.
Like Gareth Barry, who could have played in any of the top 6 teams, Lescott is equally disrespected in football circles.
The London Evening standard mentioning City's possible selection v Chelsea, suggested Lescott wouldn't play because he is 'undergoing a crisis of confidence'. That's the 'word' on Lescott in London.
Shit like that throughout his City career is the reason why Lescott wouldn't likely get a top 4 move.
