Ive been meaning to say something about big Niall for a while cos a few weeks/months ago some people on here were very anti him. Ive just seen his comments on Sky re FFP and it just underlines my opinion that there is no way that he is anti city. You don't play for a club for 6 years to turn on them. He always gave his all for us - I remember him running up the touchline telling Lomas to stop playing for a draw. He comes over very pro City to me. He might get overshadowed by Tylers venom but Quinny talks a lot of sense. There was genuine delight in his voice when Sergio scored that goal. I like Niall. To me he is a City boy and he deserves our respect. Ok he is attached to Sunderland as well. He was their chairman...hardly surprising. I grew up with the Quinn and David White partnership so I look on him fondly and I believe he looks on City fondly as well.

I still love Niall. It pains me to hear Blues run him down. I don't hear him as anti City either.

Pretty much the same as Oliver Holt and Paul Hayward in their arguments and that Uefa are punishing investment. Its an argument that the TV media just have thought said or probably thought of so it was good he said it. Ed Chamberlain looked a bit stunned by the intelligence of his comments.
