That's Garcia's gravity field for you.

Very replaceable if he goes. Weirdly went from being underrated to hugely overrated in a couple of months after a few decent (not spectacular) displays.

I agree on this. A good pro, but very. replacable indeed. I even think players like Huddelstone, Lucas or Noble would have served us as well.

Emyr huws got rave reviews from Birmingham last season and even got their goal of the season. Not saying he's the answer but would be nice to push an academy or young player through. Garcia was decent but I hardly recall seeing him pass the ball more than five yards or forwards ever which is essential for a top midfielder. His best display imo actually came at centre back against hull when we went down to ten!

And that was mainly due to Demi marshalling the defence to perfection.

Huws is nowhere near as good defensively as Garcia. Absolutely nowhere near. Different job.

It seems that defensive role is what the club have in mind for him though, I read a quote from him a while back in which he said Vieira has urged him to model his game on Busquets.

I don't agree with BRF's assertion that Garcia went to being overrated, he simply got the credit he deserved for putting in consistently good displays at the back end of the season.
