The BBC are having yet another rag twat love in

Premier League predictions: Lawro v singer Olly Murs

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.
Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is singer Olly Murs, who has just released his new album 'Never been better'.

Olly Murs played semi-professionally for Witham Town in the Ryman League between 2006 and 2008
Murs is a Manchester United fan who is still celebrating last week's win over Liverpool.
"Without David De Gea it could have been a completely different outcome but it was an incredible result and it is always a great feeling to beat one of our biggest rivals," he told BBC Sport.
"I don't think we have played particularly well in the last three or four games but, under Louis van Gaal, we seem to have our winning mentality back."
Murs is backing United to extend their six-game winning run when they play Aston Villa on Saturday, but says he is not getting carried away with talk they are in the title race.

"I think we have got a chance of challenging," he said. "But let's take it one step at a time with Van Gaal's philosophy - it might take another two years for him to get the right players in and, for me, getting back in the Champions League is the priority."

WOW, thats going to be fecking expensive if they still need another two years of buying ha ha tosser

anyway, back to Lawro who has literally gone against everything he believes in and tossed the rulebook out of the window

Man City v Crystal Palace (12:45 GMT)

Palace played well against Stoke last week but only got a point, and it was the same story in their previous fixture against Tottenham.
I think the Eagles will be very competitive again against Manchester City and it will be interesting to see how Manuel Pellegrini's side cope with the injuries that have left them without a recognised striker.
City are going well at the moment on the back of seven straight wins in all competitions but if they are going to extend that on Saturday, then they will have to do it the hard way.

Lawro's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: Sorry Palace fans, but I see a lot of goals for City. 4-0

However, it looks like the degenerate crackhead Merson has taken the Lawro mantle

Man City v Crystal Palace – Saturday, 12:45pm

I like Palace, they're quite dangerous on the break and they’ve got a lot of pace but I’m going with City for this one because they’re flying at the moment. I think City are on a right roll, confidence is high and I don’t think Palace will be a match for them.

City are in a position where they’ve just got to keep on winning. Leicester last weekend was always going to be a hard game but they kept the pressure up on Chelsea, they’ve beaten Roma away, Sunderland away and Southampton away so they’re flying and I fancy them again this week.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Cheers WW for posting these. Enjoy reading these. Tbh, I would simply take three points. I don't think Palace will be the pushovers they are made out to be

I think I prefer to play a Warnock Palace than a Pulis Palace. Warnock does seem to have more of the go out there and play mentality rather than the Pulis keep it tight for 80 mins and then have a good go at them

Gotta go with 3-0 for this one.

A full week's rest and Silva getting up to speed.
