But they do wanna discuss shelveys elbow...

Sterling will not face retrospective action as the incident was seen by at least one of the match officials at Anfield so no further action would be taken.
Strange that, I thought what Sterling did, even though not too harmful, was an offence under the regulations with a red card being the appropriate punishment; is that not normally a red?
Looks like the FA are looking after the Dippers title challenge was again.

To be fair mate, the incident was handbags but the point is that it does seem to be the old 'One rule for one, ..........' scenario again. The Dippers are looking shit as it is, a real one man team, and without Sterling for 3 games I reckon they'd be fucked.

It's bad enough the refs miss obvious things like Sterlings altercation but for the FA to miss it after watching a fuckin video of it is negligence of the highest order and perhaps the reason standards are low. If the top brass are corrupt cheats this will filter down

That's the point, the referee has stated that h didn't miss it, he just thought no action should be taken so the committee ruled it out.
It's the perfect scenario for them and is used to allow the Dippers to have their man.
It fucking stinks, but then again, when doesn't it.
Remember Wiggy's forearm smash.
