As for the game, we were well beaten by a team I found hard to believe were Arsenal.
TBH I thought they were superb, while we were pretty dire.

At the match I felt we lacked a little zip and missed Yaya. He is always there to receive the ball and is creative and dangerous. I thought Arsenal showed a flat back 9 at times and made things difficult. Whilst Arse did break well with speed and guile on occasion I did nt think they were brilliant. We had lots of potential attacking situations but it was nt happening. It seemed a bit of a smash and grab with Arsenal benefitting from a daft penalty and a free header. When I got home there was lots of talk of superb Arsenal to my surprise. I checked the stats and they had 35% possession and only 3 efforts on target. Maybe it was the beer I drank between the EDS and the first team in Mary Ds but it's as if they played like Real Madrid. Well executed tactical plan I suppose but two soft goals from very few chances for me.

Navas is getting nailed on here and I think it's not fair on the fella because he ran his socks off - sprinted endlessly box to box and also made some great tackles - his crossing wasn't at it's best but he wasn't the reason we lost the game.
I felt we missed Yaya seriously, Kun wasn't match fit and went missing entirely for most of the game, Komps wasn't match fit and was slow and clumsy and Joe Hart was simply Joe Hart - slapping the ball away when catching would be easier, half-committing himself and getting stranded, waiting good and long until the arenal players got back before distributing the ball straight to them.

Kun and Komps will get fit and be brilliant again soon enough . . . the goalkeeping issue will haunt us repeatedly until something is done about it.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I felt sorry for Navas. When he was substituted there was a small ripple of sarcastic applause and cheering. Never any need to do that. I grumble about our players on here after we lose. It makes me feel better but would never get involved in that at the ground or boo any of our own. That was not good but hopefully he did not pick up on it.

That's fuck all compared to what Kolarov gets every time he plays from the front row crew. Absolute wankers some City fans.

It will be ok once the death pit has been fully constructed at the front.

Let the moaning cunts try boong then, & see how they get on down there, with the tigers/crocodiles (depending on the weather),

Just looked at 'Newsnow' & it's a parade for Arsenal still, two days later. They celebrated like champions in the dressing room, & took 'selfies' on the coach. And all the country is delighted for them according to Carragher, (just like they were for Liverpool) because their new found resilience shows they are turning the corner.

Then I look at the league table, & they are 5th, with 39 points, having conceded 25 goals.

After 22 games last season, they were 1st, with 51 points, having conceded 19.

I really cannot help but laugh at these cunts.

And if Milner had been given a run at Centre Mid to jump all over the worlds best player Cazorla, we might have found the soft under belly.

The lack of invention vs their bus parking & a half fit Aguero, plus them scoring two defensive fuckup goals, I just think we could be playing that game for 6 weeks with the players available, & struggle.

I recon Bony would have torn them a new arsehole.

Milner has been our best player this season Ted, a run at where he would like in the form he is in might have been a better option than Fernando who I thought was bought as a destroyer of the likes of SC. TBH he looked liked he was returning from a layoff.

Milner is not going to open up Arsenal or any other team parking the bus, from centre mid, as long as he lives. If they were playing an open game then maybe, or if we had gone in front, but at 0-0, no chance.

No, but we had to respect Cazorla as they did and stopped Silva, that was what I understood was his role, Milner would IMHO, we did an Arsenal stuck to a game plan that was failing with a wasted 45 mins. Anyway it's gone now. Just not seeing the upgrade on Garcia/Barry with F2.

Milner simply isn't creative enough, in the Club's eyes at least, to be a central midfielder for City. He's never been a holding midfielder either. The Club see him as a slower alternative to Navas on the right and a left sided midfielder when they want better defensive protection for our left backs. The problem with the latter is that he's on his wrong foot when he goes forward which isn't ideal for him. That's it and I doubt it's enough for him. Pellegrini said he hoped he'd sign an extension in the next few days. That was a few days ago. I'll be surprised if he stays to be honest but I hope I'm wrong because he is a valuable squad player.

Name a better player for us this season home or away, week in week out fuck the love in for others Milner not for one second is he my type of player until this season when even you cannot say he has been anything but outstanding. Fernando in centre Mid, as I said to Ted, he would have recognised without any touchline coaching stopping SC was crucial, Fernando 16 mill for an upgrade on Garcia?????????????, when if we had tried it would we be any worse of saying to Milner get in there stop him and keep it simple.

The reason we lost was nobody closed or shut down Cazorla, Coquelin on loan at Charlton was given the job of man narking Silva, Matic will be doing that, can we shut down Fabregas or Raktic when we meet Barca, or Chelsea, Fernando looks a yard or two short of the best defensive midfielders.

They created fuck all though, they were disciplined and didn't give us a sniff either.

The reason we lost is because we gave away a needless penalty and were caught napping again at a set piece.
