So why hasn't he got an extra one match ban for a frivolous appeal?

Because it wasn't an appeal. Had the red card been given in the game it would have, in this instance he is allowed to answer the charge and have a verdict given. Also in this instance there is no appeals process.

Cheers Slim, although are you sure it's not just because he's a cunt?

........AND MAN UP 'YER BIG CHELSKI JESSE

Not quite as apt perhaps;

ORIGIN/USAGE
Hebrew
PRONUNCIATION
JES-ee
MEANING
One who can foresee. He didn't see that coming.

Jessie is a diminutive of Jessica. Jessica originates in Hebrew language and means "one who can foresee". It was mentioned the very first time in Shakespeare's play The Merchant of Venice. He probably derived it from an old Hebrew name Iskah, shortly mentioned in the Bible. Since the 20th century, Jessica has been one of the most popular feminine given names in the United States. As a masculine given name, Jessie is a variant of Jesse.

I think Pratt meaning 'Trickster' suits him too.
or Ponce meaning 'Of the Sea', I'm sure that covers 'All at Sea' as well.

He's certainly no Jesse though.

The defence that he wasn't looking at the leg so you can't prove the offence is such crap. Players are red carded for elbows in the face all the time when they aren't looking at the other player.
