Mancini was sacked for calling a cunt a cunt and pellers will probably get sacked for letting the players run the team.

Our issue is we cant shift circa 11 players in one window unless we smash FFP. And then its a year of rebuilding.

Don't think we need to shift many & replace with some infectious players who will then revive the rest. Some of our squad players perform better when Toure is not in team because he intimidates them. Pity he's no longer as good as he thinks he is. If only he & Dzeko put in the effort for us who pay their wages as their countries, we'd probably still be challenging Chelsea. Clichey needs to find a spine & Komps needs to heal he's turning into Crocky Santa Cruise

I'd feel a lot better if we heard reports of a major changing room fight.... Something to show the players actually care

The equaliser makes Zabba look like he is 47, from that point on we look like we had no plan. Ferny ran his knacker's off Kun does what he does. The rest including 3 subs need a long hard look in the mirror. Sending Navas out to the O.S interview sums up all that is wrong. Take 4th now if it was offered, dippers must feel they can get us, how the fuck this has happened, is for June, we need 4th.

Nasri, Yaya, Dzeko, Kolarov, Lampard out, no questions.
Milner, Navas, Clichey, Sagna on the block.

Reus, Turan, Pogba in

Promote kids from youth to fill sub roles, guidetti / rekik / lopes

fill in gaps with utility players that actually give a fuck and play with passion.

This team:

---------------Hart
Zabba Komp Mangala Clichey
--------Fern 1 or Fern 2
-----Silva ---------- Pogba
Reus ----------------------Turan
-------------Aguero

Would make a meal out of the prem and challenge in europe.

Ya ... I am pretty fucking good at football manager, thank you for asking.

The question of attitude is a critical one for the club, not just the attitude of the players, but the attitude of top brass.

The attitudes of individuals within an organization come together to form a 'culture', and culture generally develops organically based the way the leaders lead the organization.

I'd like to see a clear, unequivocal statement by the leadership in the summer in terms of selling one or more of the big names, that poor performance levels have a consequence for players at the club, and they don't get a free pass by the blame shifting to the manager. Selling the likes of Kompany whilst he still has value and whose powers have been on the wane for some time, would put the shits up every player at the club and the message would be loud and clear that you don't get a free ride at City, and when its felt that your useful life is over, you get sold.

If leadership have neither the attitude nor aptitude of spotting when a player is past their best, is a rotten apple, or simply not good enough, we are not being run properly when such players continue to be in the squad either based on sentiment (attitude of the bosses) or an inability to spot a decline. Whether that relates to the manager, the director of football, the chairman or CEO, it needs to start happening, not just for our on the pitch performances, but our financial performance too.

seconded.

not sure komps is the one; he might be having a mental break down and hes no captain but he has been/can be a great ambassador.

need a new captain; but then again, the more I think about it, the more I think Vinnie could be the/a bad apple...

I posted a huge article on Vieira, on this forum, at the time of the academy opening.

For those who didn't read it or can't remember it, what was in no doubt, was the esteem in which he holds Kompany, & the general idea is that the club does too, & he is basically likely to be around forever.

So I wouldn't build up any hopes of Vincent Kompany becoming victim to any witchunt.

Any fight, spirit and passion has left the club.

Agreed. The whole club gives the impression of being a soft touch. Except when it comes to ticket prices, that is.

You do see a lot of individuals putting in effort. But the team effort and spirit has just disappeared, the thing that used to carry us through.

Two examples - 3-1 down and Hart held on to the ball for ages as if timewasting. Before kicking it straight to them. Secondly when it went 4-2 - we have some of the worlds best players, a little bit of momentum, United had 10 men , yet everyone acts as if we've just scored the sixth in winning 6-0. No drive to get another at all.

I'm not used to that sort of thing. Stranger things have happened and in reality there was a good 5 minutes left.

With 30 seconds left we're still pissing about with the ball in our own half. No one even has the gumption to kick it upfield.

Got to come from the manager I'm afraid.

or to have any passion or ambition as a professional sportsmen?

I get none of them are blues. But neither was Tevez or Bellamy.

FFS i could play for Millwall and still put 110% because 1) I'm a passionate person 2) that would be my job.

What does a player have to gain from playing like a cunt? Nothing, besides from lowering their value and forcing a move. Or, perhaps they are so highly paid there is no motivation left. But thats a problem across the board. Players like Hazard still put a shift in.

and re: kompany, he needs to fix his form up and stop the stupid quotes.

He may be a great man, but if he turns to shit, he should be on the bench.

We are in danger of killing Mangala as a player.

It may be a blessing that Vinnie is injured.

The story of fernie vs vinnie at anfield is an interesting one. Fernie is IMO the only player who has grounds to have a go at others. Kompany has NEVER had the balls to bollock yaya and like another poster has said, Yaya intimidates pretty much the whole squad. I'm surprised Kun doesn't have a pop at the lazy cunt.
