Considering that West Brom have bought Rondon; should we bid for Berahino to make us up to 4 strikers again?

And I can't stand Spurs so pissing them off would be worth it for me.

If we are going to stick with a 1 striker formation, 4 strikers would be overkill. Iheanacho is more talented anyway.

I agree. But he wa their best player by far. He is half decent
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

no thanks. With Bony, Aguero, Nacho, and even Sterling we have enough. don't need to spend money for the sake of spending money.
plus, i'd feel bad for the kid for him to come here and sit behind Bony and Aguero. AND, i don't want another guy AHEAD of Nacho.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

If we need a 4th, why not Pozo?

Because he isn't close to good enough. If we have one more from the EDS it's Ambrose.

What the hell has happened to Devante Cole? When I Google it it just says West Ham turned him down after a trial and he last had a trial with Birmingham. So is he still with us or not?

I suppose his problem is that whoever signs him, isn't going to pick him up for free due to the development fee that would have to be paid to City. So unless he can demonstrate he is worth that outlay, he could struggle to find a club unless City waived the fee (or part of it). I think that would set a bad precedent for us though, so I hope we don't.

I hope we don't as I honestly think his dad had this in mind from the start. Get the best possible training in the area and then fuck us off.

Does anyone actually know how the development fee actually works in this situation?

I mean he must have a notional value that perhaps city place on him which would ultimately be decided at tribunal, but does that notional value prevent him from dropping down to say league 1 level if there are no takes at a higher level, as clubs would simply not see the value in paying say 500k for a relatively unproven albeit clearly talented player.

Of course we would continue to pick up a % of his transfer fee should he move in the future, so it could be that allowing him to go down a level may pay us back in the long run if he does well and gets a decent transfer out of it?
