Nailed it brother ;-)

It would be funny. Possibly the wrong signing but for all the right reasons. He is no mug but I'd prefer KDB. There has been silence on any action on Reus this window as well, is this a complete non starter?

Having said that, just bring associated with him is making plenty of rags squirm which can only be a good thing

Just the thought of it kills them mate. We took Sterling away from the Dippers and a player choosing us over the Rags would really hurt them.

They're struggling.

Seen as though no one answered me on whether he's decent or not I've just checked him out on YouTube. He looks like a clone of Navas. I hope we don't sign him.

Looks to me that he'd take up Sterling's spot.

Hard to say whether someone would transition from playing Barca style their whole life to a different team. Tons of his goals look like tap-ins after a dazzling run or pass from Messi/Xavi/Inestia...

With the squad we have now, we should only be going for the best. Pedro has quality but I'd rather let a kid in instead of him. Someone like Pogba or De Bruyne would be a different story.

Well, that escalated quickly ... Otamendi to City last night and now Pedro to Chelsea this morning ... the rags are in meltdown on twitter and everywhere ... and most making fun of them are fucking scousers.

EDIT: Oh, and Pedro didn't snub them (like that was the headline just yesterday that Pedro snubs City to join Utd) ... the SSN Breaking news is ... let me paste exact quote ... "BREAKING NEWS: Sky Sources - Manchester United drop interest in signing Barcelona forward Pedro #SSNHQ" Ha ha ha ha, yeah right!

just had a quick look on the darkside....

a few on there know the score, especially this chap in response to someone backing up claims that they simply dropped their interest....

Maybe he displaces Willian as I think Mourinho wants to play Oscar in the middle. He got Cuadrado for a reason which hasn't worked out. Pedro will at least rotate more there, and maybe he thinks he will get more of a chance versus zero chance to displace the Barca main 3.

If Mourinho doesn't rate willian, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I think Pedro will get significant time, and I think he'll be a strong addition to the team. He'll have to get used to a boring, ugly style of play though.

I kind of see Pedro as the Spanish Milner. He's a hard worker and somewhat versatile. He'll do what he's asked to do.

I hope he fails miserably. Always felt that he was an average player in a great team although I could never argue why.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

In fairness, it could be Oscar that's the one who suffers most, or Ramires. Oscar didn't make the first team against us, but did against Swansea. Ramires is better defensively than Oscar, but I somehow suspect Mourinho sees Oscar as still having potential at 23, where as Ramires is what he is at 28, and Willian is 27. Likely they will all be competing for slots, similar to our situation in those positions, especially if we sign De Bruyne.
